Hahah, this song is so true. I remember the last time I went there to visit relatives in the countryside two years ago. No running water; it had to be pumped, ants were crawling through the sugar container, people were allowed to carry machetes with them wherever they went, a lot of people there are ignorant fundamentalists and bigoted, the list goes on. If you ever go there, make sure you stick to the resorts lol

Jamaica easy top 5 of most racist places ive been together with Hungary, Russia, South Africa....my mate and me been going to all kinds of festivals once, twice a year for along time now. He is Indonesian, easy to see he's not white..im Dutch typically white covered in tattoos, half face fucked up bc bike crash, overweight, beard... ...we dont always fit in, that can create some problems, but that just adds to the adventure. But in Hungary (Metal festival) and Jamaica (Reggae festival) we really were worried for our safety ..... .to be fair 24 hours a day for days with mostly hippies around (Moon parties) is exhausting to , loved the drugs tho.

Wow, way to completely misinterpret everything I said. I made it perfectly clear that those lyrics are allegedly negative attributes of Jamaica (according to this song). I simply said that buying your drugs from a hotel room (one of the lines) is not negative. To answer your question: no, I don't enjoy getting in knife fights and getting my hand chopped off while listening to reggae, but I wouldn't mind having access to ganja right in my hotel room!
