In fact everyone seemed to just look away until as you say, it was too late 😱It's one of those movies that we could go scene by scene and comment on what's left unsaid, a look, an attitude. I think nowadays it would be all presented too explicitly but the fun is I think in what's perhaps not so obvious! Mary will have a little competition from me 😂😊 100% agree with you on movies spelling things out these days and leaving little to the imagination or open to interpretation. I don’t watch a ton of contemporary films, however the ones I do catch, do seem to be lacking in the nuance department. We are forming one heck of an appreciation society for each other with these comments aren’t we 😂💕 but it’s all true and your friendship has been the absolute highlight of 2020 for me 💝! xox

I absolutely love Gene's clothes too here, specially the lighter blue outfits and the settings... My oh my!
