Almost all her videos are made with the app called 8mm Vintage camera on the iPhone!!! Love that app! For example this one was made with the 60's filter!!! Now you can make your own Lana-ish videos yay!

I totally understand the whole concept of the video and how it connects to the song pretty clear, so if you're stating that it's not fitting or "boring" then you're obviously not actually paying attention to the lyrics and fully understanding the meaning behind them :) This was lovely

This is pure Lana , not some director telling her instructions what to do . This is just her mind and her expression . She ,in contrast with other singers this times , writes her lyrics on her own , she´s writing about HER feelings and experiences so she can make video how she feels it. And that´s what I love about her.

While I completely understand where people are coming from and how they want that "Born To Die" video era back for this song, I think this video is something directly from Lana's heart and soul. When you take a look back at her Lizzy Grant days, this was that. Homemade movies directly from her. Old video footage combined with Lana and a camera, her voice connecting them together. Look at Summer Wine, it was an intimate moment between Lana and her lover at the time, that gave you the feel of all her old videos. Just like this one does. I believe this song is very personal to her; the album shares the title, Jim is mentioned just like in many other of her older songs from her time going by Lizzy. At first glance you might not see it, especially if you've never looked into her past, but this seems to be Lana being bare. This may not have taken thousands of dollars to create with big productions like some of her other videos, this is very personal. This isn't just Lana. This is Elizabeth Grant.

This....is...incredible, the simplicity doesn't need to represent anything, what should matter, and does to me is the music, so for any music fans, the video is simply and the focus is put on the music!

I actually like the video, it's relaxing. *But* Ultraviolence in my opinion deserved a video the quality of Born To Die with the narrative of the actual song dealing with domestic abuse (possibly set in the 60's).

Ultraviolence is about an abusive relationship. she loves Jim so much but he doesn't show any love to her so when it says he hit me and It felt like a kiss she interprets the abuse as love, he is showing love to her. The music video is genius. It shows her love for him, how she loves him and how she would love getting married to him, but reality is that Jim really does not love her, that is why no one else is in the alter. The video plays with dream and reality, you just have to look close enough to see. Its beautiful.

It is extremely beautiful and lush. God, Lana sings like the ghost of a woman who died from an overdose of heroin, and this video captures precisely that. The atmosphere created by the vintage effect is great, distorts everything in a heavenly way. This is the greatest example of that Lana does not need millions of dollars and a team of makeup to make something beautiful.

The so called "Lana Fans", that are saying this video sucks obviously became fans later on in her career when her videos were professionally shot. Because this is old school Lana... Hey-Lolita-laughing-like-god-playing-video-games type of Lana!! I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!

Honestly I think this is one of her most symbolic videos yet (besides Shades of Cool). She's a bride getting married to the man who causes her pain yet she likes it, smiling when she says "He hit me and it felt like a kiss". Maybe she's pretending or maybe she's confusing pain and abuse as love the video leaves it unclear. This is just my opinion though so don't hurt me lol

I went out in the rain on my own with an umbrella and walked through the woods to the canal listening to this song on my headphones and despite the depressing sound of the song I loved being out in the rain listening to this. It was so haunting but also so beautiful. Just made me realise how much I love the rain on a dreary day. Lana Del Rey is amazing

There she is, in a procession toward a chapel in her wedding dress (or at least what looks like one), with her man filming and every now and then being playfully sexual with her. The procession can represent any number of things, but it also brings focus to the narrative which is the essence of the song. Pay attention to her words, her actions, and you'll see her intent. It's that simple.

This video is purely Lana Del Rey and her brand, it takes me back to her older music and I love it.
