Noisy kittens waiting for dinner!

15 жыл бұрын7 week old fostered kittens waiting on their dinner being prepared. They had been ill with cat flu and were just starting to get their appetite back. Because of their condition I had to chop their food finely and then add water and their medication to it. Once they were old enough and healthy enough the kittens were eventually re-homed in pairs to two loving families. They were never purposely starved for entertainment - Cats can be very impatient and demanding!

The people who are claiming that this video shows any form of animal cruelty have never owned a cat, or any pet for that matter. When an animal, for example cats, get hungry and depend on an owner to feed them, and they learn that the food comes from a can, they will get noisy and excited over the prospect of dinner. My cat, while not doing that for every meal, has shown her eagerness and excitement. This is just normal cat behaviors.

I always used to play this video for my cat Elmo - she loved it and would get so excited over the sound of these kittens. She sadly died in 2016, but every so often I'll search up this video to watch it again.

that is not unusual for kittens. Queens when in heat will mate with multiple toms. A litter can often have half siblings who have different fathers. I had 3 cats who were litter mates. 2 black males and a grey and white female.

Personally, I winced to see it. People should NEVER let kittens roam into dangerous places like that, it's a horrible tragedy waiting to happen. And sadly, yes, people have accidentally killed their kittens in the wash.

@@perfectlybalancedasallthin9319 it's not nonsense, it's happened to many cats and kittens before leaving pet parents devastated and racked with guilt for the remainder of their days. It just takes a little carelessness, bad luck, cat curiosity and oversight for this kind of tragedy to happen: leave the washing machine door open, kitty crawls in, someone else in the family listening to music on their headphones waltzes in and obliviously tosses laundry inside and turns it on, cat drowns and no one knows until they pick up their clothes. This kind of tragedy happens with maddening regularity, cats being accidentally crushed by electric recliners, run over as people back out of garages, baked in the oven after a cleaning, so no, it's not "nonsense", it's an important word of caution for people to be more careful when they use dangerous appliances.

ANYONE who's ever had a cat knows how cats are when it's feeding time. I think that's where the phrase "Drama Queen" comes from. So if you think this guy starved these kittens to make them cry more? Please. I have five cats, and they STILL act like this every time it's time to eat. In fact, one of my cats would put these kittens to shame, and she's a fairly big, very well-fed animal. They're not whining like that because they're being abused. They're whining like that because they're cats. When cats want food, THEY WANT FOOD. And they better get it NOW. (BTW, one of my cats was sitting on my lap when I started watching this video. It freaked her out)

MrsPaul My cat actually woke me up at five in the morning once and made me get up. She had plenty of food in her dish, but it was at the sides of the dish, not the middle, and she only likes it when her food is in the middle of her food dish. So she got me up to shake her food dish around so the food was positioned the way she likes it, so she could eat. Cats are jerks.

+MrsPaul My cat does a variation of this at feeding time - he'll meow and butt against my legs to let me know he wants food. I've told him that he doesn't have to be affectionate to make sure I'll feed him, but he never listens. And, yes, he'll do this even when his food dish has food in it already. I think he just likes the idea of mealtime.

I'm laughing because my 12 year old cat still makes the same fuss... and behaves like he's about to die of starvation even when he actually has food in front of him. They really train us well. Also love the ingenuity of the little guy who keeps using the washing machine as a launching point to climb Mt Everest there.

Must be tuna fish, or some type of wet cat food. Cats can smell a can of that stuff as soon as it's opened. That's when they go bananas.
