As someone who has been in and out of jail if you catch someone looking at you while you’re naked that’s a fight automatically

Thinking from his perspective..You don't know what kind of people you're dealing with, and what they did to end up in jail. X warned the guards and the inmate knew not to make him uncomfortable. X knew his limit and let them know what his tolerance level was: "I'm gonna kill him" meaning absolutely no tolerance. Imagine you were X, and you let it slide. The inmate would think he can look whenever he wants and there's no repercussions. Maybe that guy would get too comfortable and want to try his luck. Maybe other inmates would think it's okay to try X and rape him or some might try to harm him for no reason thinking X might also be into butt stuff cause he's "too cool" with the gay guy. If a straight man stared at a naked woman that he doesn't know and makes her feel uncomfortable, people would say that is sexual harassment. Its the same with a straight man being stared at by a gay man whom he does not know. Sorry to say but I think attempting to kill that man might have sent a message to everyone else "Seriously. In prison rape happens all the time and a stares from someone you know to be homosexual (while naked) is highly suggestive. I don’t condone his actions at all and feel there’s many different ways he could’ve approached the situation, but it’s just something to think about.

You all should put yourselves in a position where you are in prison with an insane man (and we should know that he's insane because he's in prison plus they claimed he's a compulsive liar. Plus he ended up in protective custoudy) (also you even helped him when people bullied him) staring at you, and you're very impatient and going crazy (because it's freaking prison, of course, it's gonna drive you crazy) and you also have anger issues and the man just keeps staring at you.
