I think I am in love with it lol. The only bad things I found were the camera, speaker quality and the glossy back. But I think it is not a deal breaker because of that.

Purchased and no regrets highly recommend. Imported device to my country after checking bandwidths and no issues works fine. Previously read this device will not work in North America well it does.

Omg you have this and the 800 tough too? I am so jealous! I want them both, that way if the flip breaks the tough can take over! I want them because I never use my smartphone just iPad so the hotspot will be really useful! But not banana phone, buttons are rubbish, bend inconvenient and battery life too short.

The camera wants to know the location to geotag your photos. I mean that could be useful if you want to pull up a better photo than those 2 million pixel you have.

I’m sold, cause it could be the last best ever flip phone in 20 years you can use effectively today in 2019. Well my first ever flip phone back then was the Motorola Startac that change the game using phones as a fashion accessory when answering & ending calls when Y2K rolled in.😝

I know right??? I love Flip Phones and I think their so Cool too Bad People don't even use them anymore (Except for Senior Citizens) and don't really talk about them anymore by the time People Started using Smartphones in 2010-2011 I thought those would be alot better but I think Smartphones suck I think Flip Phones are better I've been begging and begging my Mom for Months that I want my Smartphone Shut Off Completely and I just want to go back using a Flip Phone since I don't care for the IPhone or the Android Phone I want to go back in time and use a Regular Cellphone I've own the Samsung Galaxy S8 since October 15th 2017 and I don't even care for it because all that everybody does Nowadays is using Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat and I don't have any of those so One Day whenever I get this Smartphone Shut Off for good I'm gonna go back to using a Flip Phone since I love those alot better and I'm Old School

This OS is a huge piece of sh"t, bought it for my grandma, and when i wanted to set it up for her to be easy to use (she only makes calls) it's amazingly limited, you cant change shortcuts and the vanilla ones are probably made by someone who has no concept of the term "ease of use", there is no way to change the theme of phone which makes the phone book very hard to see for someone of age, also there is no theme changer on app store...And to say from 3-4 flip phones on market this one was double the price of the panasonic and some other no name phone, 10/10 if i knew this i would have went with cheaper option.

It does have a voice recorder but if you needed to record a phone call for some reason, it does not do this.

I understand why it has a 2mp camera. Technicians like me will send photos to each other (Pumps,valves, compressors etc) and we cant be bothered with those annoying messages " File is to large, reduce quality". Technicians at work don't do selfies .

Hi. On your phone, when you receive a message, does it provide any kind of notification to tell you that you have a message AFTER you have gotten it? Mine shows "New message" on the external display for 3 seconds but when I open the phone, it does not have a notification to show me I have a message and it does not have a "1" on the messages icon. So if my phone is in another room or I don't hear it straight away then I will never know I have a message. Is yours the same?

@фгјтфдд нбхјк Depends on what you're looking for. Personally, I would never buy such a cheap Android phone in the first place. If I buy Android, I want performance. And you know the performance of a cheap Android phone just sucks compared to flagship models. So it would never live up to my expectations. The Nokia, on the other hand, would. Because I don't have the same expectations of that phone. And it actually lives up to the expectations I have. I currently have a OnePlus 7 Pro, and a Galaxy S8+ as my secondary phone. I want to replace my S8+ with the Nokia, to kinda 'detox' from the internet/screentime, without losing key features such as WhatsApp. And for that, the Nokia is perfect 🙏

Very similar to my old Nokia 6131. Similar selection of ringtones, alarms, alerts and other menu options. Plus social media, WhatsApp and other modern utilities. A pity the reviewer didn't try to make a Wh'Ap voice call. It would be useful to know that the phone can do that. For a standby phone I would say a 2 Mp camera is OK, but the price should be £25 less. l agree that for £90 the camera should be at least 8 Mp and the sound quality should be better. Sounds as if a cheap loudspeaker has been used or it's not secured firmly, so that it rattles a bit.

2:08 why not 8megapixels? Because this phone is not the kind to make beautiful photos but more for handy pictures (ex : picture of that book's name, picture of that guy's face, picture of that bycicle). So that's why they didn't put a 8mpx in that phone. As well, it would slowdown the phone to make it manage a huge database of 8mpx pictures. That's not the market Nokia is aiming

Dozer it’s signal sim. I turned it off because I don’t use WhatsApp etc, I only turn the data on when I need it to maximise battery life. I had the Nokia 230 before this and even with the data on I would get minimum 8 days.

Same KaiOS as with 800 Tough, 20 quid cheaper and less durable. Tech and IP recycling by Microsoft Nokia. Only intresting part is KaiOS itself and way it develops since it requires less resources in hw and battery to do similar

Nokia should bring back the C2 I used one for years in the UK, USA and The Bahamas always took great pictures with a 3.2 camera. I like the Nokia 800 but I see people having a lot of problems with them so I don't know which to buy might look at a Sat phone again if I can find one with a GOOD camera ?? Thank you for the video.
