Definitely a good review. Thanks for sharing. This is definitely a machine for someone's first machine. I don't care for air tests personally, but they do tell you a little with target I'd numbers. Depth is never accurate. Have you ever seen a CTX 3030 do an air test? They fail pretty poorly from ones I've seen. Good for hearing tones and seeing what numbers things hit at for sure. You used a lot of items and have done a good review! The shaft is wobbly for sure! Don't extend it too far and it's a bit better. For $150 it's good for someone trying it out. Wicked happy hunting

I can't wait to see how this does out in the wild! Depth is a little disappointing in Park (probably something to do with a factory set high recovery speed for better separation), but has a chance to be a real jewelry killer. I run a Legend, but this might make a great second machine to bring a non-detecting friend along with. If Nokta managed to make a machine that's great on jewelry, waterproof, and at least serviceable on saltwater beaches for under $200 they'll sell a billion of them.

I did get it out on a short hunt for my lunch break today. Unfortunately I forgot my GoPro at home and did not get any footage. However in the 20 minutes I had. I did pickup a small ring a quarter and a few pull tabs. The ring hit on a 38 / 39 on the VDI. Was about 2 inches deep. Just costume jewelry.

Like you, have the original Simplex + and the Legend. Great machines. This would be an excellent beginner or child’s machine, especially with the price point. I’d rather have this than Dr. OTEC ! lol… Be blessed and stay safe.

Plug an inexpensive low latency transceiver into the adapter and use low latency headphones and you have a wireless system.

Thanks for the review. Nokta will probably be my next detector. Happy with my Garrett AT Pro but I’ve heard it’s getting outdated from other detectorists.

They never really get out dated. Its just the newer stuff looks a feels new and exiting. Ultimately they all still find the same stuff LOL. All in all Happy hunting !

Just a question but I see a button that has the same symbol as Recovery speed on other Nokta machines. If your recovery speed is high the VDI’s are harder to get until closer to the coil. I don’t have this machine so I could be extremely wrong. Be blessed and stay safe.

Can you see if the pinpoint mode is retune capable? This is where one narrows done the pinpointed signal by placing the coil at the edge of the signal, releases PP button, then press PP again (shrinks signal by lowering PP sensitivity).

Ill have to get it on a target and let you know

I been waiting to see the findx, You must have the first video up of it , cool. It looks like the depth meter is only showing two bars, it should peg out as you get farther from the coil ? Maybe being inside is affecting it ? Looking forward to watching you use it outside. I’m curious of how it will work in the ground. It has good depth on air test, especially in field mode, for an entry level detector.,You should get a lot of views on this one, I think everyone is curious about it too. Thanks for posting.

When i first saw it come out. I had the extra money to get it. Besides I needed a fresh perspective. Although I use the X-Terra Pro I wanted a different detector just to see what I'm missing if any at all.
@Vincent-tn7utАй бұрын
Please, how deep does it detect? Forgive me if I said it in the video. I'm from Brazil and I don't speak English. It is starting to arrive here now and there are no explanatory videos in Portuguese.
@DigginLouisianaАй бұрын
( Park mode ) Will be shallow for fresh drops 4 to 8 inches ( Field mode ) Up to 10 to 12 inches depending on the size of the target (Jewelry mode ) Is a boosted sensitivity for none ferrous metals 8 to 12 inches. Again depending on size ( Beach mode ) For salt minerals but sill could get up to 12 inches
