I’m so glad Neil calls out the one guy for encroachment. What in the hell was that beefy intimidation tactic. Part of me was hoping he’d catch a backswing on the chin after seeing him encroach on every tee box.

Camera work on the very first hole stands out, can really see the contour of the green. I assume DJ pie is behind this and honestly he deserves some sort of award.

Class as always.. I wouldn’t be too hard on Neil’s putting. Alt Shot / Foursomes is a different pressure to a weekend knock with your mates. Foursomes then at a high level is another level again. Very easy for the stroke to get a bit tight & pulley in that arena. Looking forward to Rd2!

Superb content! Best yet - team golf is hard - when every shot has a consequence beyond yourself! Can tell it weighed down hard on Neil Zalatoris after a few missed shorties! But seriously good playing gents - solid tee to green, and greeat camaraderie. Keep up the good work, and send me that free club, NLU head cover and some other goodies as you see fit. Ps. Better sign Hueber to a media non-compete clause cause he is a gem of a analyst! On second thought, NBC, CBS and GC wouldn’t know what to do with a gent who gives in-depth analysis like he does. They’d rather put a golfer from yesteryear to talk about how nothing is wrong with the tour. Looking forward to my new three wood gents!

I think the only way for Neil to become comfortable with putting is he needs to come up with names for the different kind of putts he faces. Just like he has names not only for his clubs but his different shots he hits. Straight uphill putt : the train track Downhill slider left to right : slippery sally. Once the Neil comes up with some names for some putts he faces I think it’ll give him the loosened up confident stroke he needs for the putt to excite the task. Go watch the game tape and get to work Neil!
