The listenability of this album is through the roof. It's smooth, weaves one track in to the next well and Jack Harlow's casual cadence on the soul tracks is an intimate invitation to his storytelling.

Blame On Me is easily the best track. What a complex story about generational cycles that continue because of guilt we feel. How his little brother probably feels towards him, how he feels towards his dad and his little brother and how his dad feels towards him. They all care for each other and recognize the pain they caused but it’s just hard to talk about so they don’t. Instead, they just tell each other to put the blame on me.

Its super interesting on how each person gets something different from a song. I took Gang Gang Gang as a song about people Jack is/was close with, that unfortunately had charges brought upon them. Prior to the charges Jack thought extremely high about them, but after the charges, Jack is now questioning himself on weather or not his Friends are the good people he knows, or the evil people others say they are. The song is a story of his struggle with this decision, without truly knowing what to believe, not what to do. Ultimately leaving him feeling terrible for either decision. However, I could be completely wrong, but the song made a discussion and interest, and that's is what matters most.

People hated on come home the kids miss you, but it was the base on which this album was built. His last album was a way to catch the ear and show that he could make a record full of “hits”. This album combines the vibe of that album with a true deep dive into how lyrical Jack can be. I think his next album will be one of the best albums of modern times, similar to 4 your eyes only, a combination of huge hits and thought provoking artistic works.

I love the production value of this album. I wasn’t a fan of Jack before I listened to this album. I’d love if other rappers Uzi, Cordae, and others follow in his steps and really hone in on their craft and focus on Story telling. Jack has come a long way in just 3/4 years with this album but still has a lot of room to perfect his craft and him still being young means he can realistically achieve that status he’s chasing.

I did NOT expect Jack was gonna switch it up, cut the trendy passive confident rap hit make type music and come on this album and SPIT. This is definetly a growth and improvement from his last album. I ain’t ever dislike Jack, cause I knew he could rap rap for real. I just been disliking his recent subject matter, but this album right here! “This shii right here!!!” (J.Cole) He was in his bag for real. Now I can truly say I mess with Jack for real. I hope he stay true to himself from now on. I know everybody wants to be versatile and do different kind of songs and genres but there needs to be a basis always. You gotta still be identifiable when changing your style. I should be able to know it’s YOU, and not think you biting somebody else style.

to me, it seems like 90% of jacks haters are actually just racist tbh. this dude has witty-ass bars, sampling on this album was impeccable, and it also fit a vibe. hate all you want, but he’s good at what he does and he gettin better. hate ppl who be bringing race into everything, shit goofy af

I was indifferent to him cause his previous projects and songs were mid and sometimes good, and I did feel him being white played a role in kickstarting his rise (easily marketable to to mass America, obviously not his fault though he was just overhyped). I love this new album though and feel he’s finally coming into his own sound and style. Gang gang gang is fs one of my top songs of the year so far.

29??? You're wise beyond your years man, this is the only react i've seen where you actually listened to what jack had to say instead of just tryna "gotcha" him on a line or some shit. Keep doing solid work man!

Watching this reaction with you put this album in perspective. This is his response to the hate he got during his whirlwind rise up the charts and the backlash he got from his last album. The heavy part about this is it looks like instead of pushing back on the hate and trying to fight fire with fire... hes putting it all out there to show the world his true self.. flaws and all. Who can hit you anywhere else when you've put all the skeletons in your closet out for the world to see? And here's the real tribute to the GOAT from Mr. Harlow... he's doing exactly what Em did when he went up against Papa Doc in the last round of 8 Mile. But he did it HIS way... on HIS terms... in HIS style. "F**k this industry I don't wanna win I'm outtie.... here tell these people something they dont know about me". BARS.

You talking about Eminem and skeletons in a closet remind me of when Em said something similar in Cleaning Out My Closet. “I got some skeletons in my closet and I don’t know if no one knows it, So before they throw me inside my coffin and close, it Ima expose it.”

In Gang Gang Gang he was talking about how a lot of guys find out their friends do vile shit like rape and molest kids and stick beside them because they’re “gang” rather than cutting them off and holding them accountable. Dope album tho 🔥

This album gave me the same feeling as the early dat piff era Drake. So much truth, solid production and well written/delivered concepts and bars. My only complaint is I want an extra verse on almost every song. He left you feeling like you knew him and want to know more. Genius execution on a mixtape length album.

I was born in 94 I’m 28 I remember no social media man. It was lit asf. We met up playin outside doin dumb sh*t. Only we used phones was to call up the Homies on our small brick lookin Nokias. Rodin bikes, building bonfires, playing 5-0 and gangs, riding to the next neighborhood for other friends and girls. Wrestling in the yard and fighting. No toys either. Just imagination. As we got older it was the same. Till Social Media grew bigger. During and after my space
