In this video I get into some advanced coaster editing in NoLimits 2 by trying to creating a unique and realistic coaster that will make every scream and hold on tight. I hope you all learn something during this walkthrough that you may have not known about what you can do in NoLimits 2. I'm going to be working each and every detail when creating this roller coaster so hold on because it's gonna be a long, wild ride!

As much as I want to criticize your build style in this video, I really can't because it's the first of many videos, and you've probably figured out a lot more then you knew in this one. So I'm going to watch on and see how it goes.

I don't know if anyones told you this or not, but the strict button makes things easier. You double click on the nod and there's a strict option, it will automatically set it so the track is perfectly straight between the nod before it and after it! I usually put one near the bottom of the hill and one near the top! Perfectly straight, every time! You can also do this with roll points!

if you use the snap feature you dont have to mess around with the x y z coordinates it will snap precisely to the distance you set in the preferences menu

It is very ironic that the free trial of no limits is called no limits.

I've only ridden two roller coasters in real life. My first was the Mad Mouse at Michigan's Adventure, and I didn't really like it much, because of the turns being sharp and flat, making me feel like I was going to fly out of the seat, and when there was track above me, I felt like I was going to hit my head on a part of the track when I went over the hills in the layout...

My second, more recent roller coaster ride was one I enjoyed much more; Whistle Punk Chaser at Dollywood. I liked it because it was fun and exciting, while also being gentle at the same time 🙂

I also recommend using Quad view while editing, it saves a lot of time from switching between each view.

how does one use quad view? I want to use it but I have no clue how. that would be helpful.

Have you made any roller coasters in NoLimits that are more on the gentle side, like a kiddie or family coaster? I want to stick to those kinds of rides, both in real life and in the sim
@ZeldaACFan17
@ZeldaACFan17 2 жыл бұрын
I prefer rides on the gentle side, with slow speeds, low heights, and mild motions. I don't think I would like any big coasters or launched ones. Even if a launched coaster is family-friendly, like how Firechaser Express at Dollywood is designed, I wouldn't want to ride it, because the acceleration would be a bit sudden...
@ZeldaACFan17
@ZeldaACFan17 2 жыл бұрын
Also, Firechaser Express goes backwards as well as forwards... And both ways start with a launch...

Two things: 1. NoLimits 1 allowed you to make a track segment perfectly straight by pressing "I". Is this feature available in NoLimits 2? 2. The lift hill angle was fine the first time. Batman at Six Flags New England has a lift that's almost 45 degrees. Some of the older B&M coasters, like Kumba, have gently-sloped lift hills, but not that much.
@JLWGames
@JLWGames 9 жыл бұрын
1. yes the feature is available in NoLimits 2. Not entirely sure what the shortcut key is but it's there. 2. I understand that there are steep lift hills but for this particular one I didn't want it so steep.

NL2 is a simulator where one builds a roller coaster with realistic, hard to learn, professional tools IT IS NOT A VIDEO GAME PlanCo is a game where one builds and manages a theme park with non-realistic coaster building tools IT IS A VIDEO GAME
