I have a slight query with this technique. By pulling the gun away from your head wouldn't that make his finger depress the trigger? I've never done this variation before, the only one I did was doing a 180 degree pivot and pushing the gun towards the attackers and out of his hand.

Even if the trigger is pulled, the "victim" can grab the slide and prevent its rearward movement necessary to discharge the bullet.

you're using the wrong arm to grab the gun. use your other arm that he cant feel and pull your head forward

WRONG ALL AROUND. The right arm is CLOSEST to the gun and has the LEAST amount of space to travel thus making it more effective. A left handed gunman can get the same result by using a left handed gun grab.

Have you tried it in person? I have and it works. These are natural movements for the body to make AND Krav Maga has IDF (Israeli Army) testimonies to back it up.
