I'm going to defer to google's def: the modulation of intonation or pitch in the voice. It's the way Randy may elongate a syllable or sound to add emphasis or emotion. :-)

kejeobo...THAT couldn't have been said any better! I simply love your analogy! You definitely hit the nail on the head! Randy DOES have a personality charisma that could be very addicting...funny, takes life with a grain of salt, is positive, a realist...and, the list goes on and on! When I read what you wrote I immediately pictured Randy just as we all did while talking to Bob in the interview. Thanks!

What a sweet, sweet man, but honey, there isn't room in there for a woman. If course that's my opinion. I think a woman with her own rig to park next to him (or a little bigger rig) might be the better way to go. Again, just my opinion. 😊

I was very fortunate to have met Randy at one of the RTR’s about 10 years ago and he’s just as friendly and full of wisdom as he appears in the videos. I’ll never forget him quoting without any effort, parts of Walden after I shared it was my favorite book of all time. Randy is the real deal.

Could you be a traveling nurse? That would give you the best of both! One guy, can't remember his name or KZfaq channel, but if you are interested, I could find. He is a traveling nurse; he lives in a GMC Suburban that he modified inside as a liveable home. He'll stay in the parking lot while he's working, then off to wherever when he's not. A Suburban would be way too small for me, so it would have to be a van - that I could stand up in - or an RV.

What a great way to live a life! Randy sure has a lot of experience, being a Nomad for 40 years. Think Randy shows the true way of living free andhappy, and indeed - as he says himself - this is the way to stay healthy, keep your inner peace and just be yourself. That book of his must be a real interesting colelction of expressions of that freedom and happiness. The van is cosy and spacy and looks nice. Am glad to se ehe has books in there too. Books are really important to me... Thanks for sharing Randy & Bob - all the best to you, Jason

The amount of intelligence and experience on camera between the two of you is awesome. Can I just say I loved seeing all the books strewn about?! Not a surprise but it makes me smile. Randy, I gotta say if a woman balks at your home and way of life, she's not the right woman for you. Don't EVER change how you do things based on someone else's opinions. So if a woman gets your testosterone a pumpin' and she turns her nose up to anything that brings you joy, mosey along. But...I know you know that. :-) Hope to cross your paths when I hit the road.

wow i am so impressed with how Mr. Randy has been living off grid for 40 years! thats impressive, the layout inside his rig really works and it looks to be really roomy. He has a nice chair to kick back in a full bathroom, and all the comforts of home. what is not to like. He is healthy and able and obvious creative As he has published his own book of poetry. the only disappointment was that you did not ask him to read us one of his favorites. Meanwhile i will leave you both a blessing, May you be filled with loving kindness, May you be well, May you be peaceful and at ease, and always sleep under the stars. happily and content. Thanks for sharing your home Mr. Randy, guess i will have to order your book to read your book, to learn of your fascinations.

The years will fly by, especially if you start taking baby steps right now to make it happen; 1) Start selling all the crap that is nothing but a prison, and stop buying more!! Save every penny! 2) Start taking camping trips. First, go camping overnight in your car. Then camp for weekends. Then week long trips. 3) Then get a minivan and start sleeping in it in the driveway. Then two week trips in it. Then a month. 4) Start stealth parking around town. 5) Next, be searching for the vehicle you want to live in, but be very selective--you're in no hurry. If a killer deal comes up, grab it. 6) Keep working, but as soon as possible move out of your house/apartment into your vehicle and pay yourself the rent. Save big bucks!! 7) All along this time, work on your internal metamorphosis into the new beautiful butterfly you will become. Explore your old interests and hobbies. Go back to the ones you regret not following. 8) Learn new practical skills that will make your life better (sewing, cooking, carpentry, auto repair etc.) Become a learning machine! 9) Learn about jobs for nomads and get one. 10) Finally, tell your boss what he can do with that job!!

You better believe that after I finish watching this video I am jumping on Amazon to hopefully find Randy's book and purchase. What an amazing person he is and I am inspired by his passionate outlook on life and his message of finding inner happiness. So many of these folks in these videos I have noticed all share a similar glow that radiates. There are many people that live in mini mansions that are desperately unhappy. My sister had a stressful unfulfilling job-she works 14 hour days. She is miserable and frankly miserable to be around. She also has to pay a mortgage that is now her responsibility since her husband left. (She had to pay HIM 1/2 of the homes value over there divorce decree. So a home that was nearly paid for now carries a hefty mortgage. She drives a gas guzzling huge SUV. She is the epitome of thinking this is what you need to be and look successful. An image. Randy's lifestyle and philosophy prove that true happiness is attainable and doesn't require a bunch of stuff (as George Carlin so aptly put).

Good show. My dad used to take me overnight fishing & camping when I was a kid in a Ford Super Cab 1970ish with a camper in the truck bed. I remember the stilts that balanced/elevated the camper off the bed of the truck. I'm 56 yrs old now, been working the last six months as a 1099 contractor. Today I suffered a TIA mini stroke. I was driving when this happened. It was over in a few minutes, but, I realized how precious time is now. To chill out and collect my senses, I opened the KZfaq app on my phone to watch/listen to something comforting. In my recommended feed was the documentary Without Bound. I had been viewing camping in your vehicle videos & bushcraft. The similar recommendations led me here. As a kid, I used to spend overnights inside that camper in the back yard. Feeling free and on my own. I'm in a lease and have some debt to pay down, but, kids are grown, so, I have nothing else holding me back. I'm going to "taper" into this lifestyle and see some of this country while I can.

I have come full circle, This is one of the first videos I watched. I love life on the road. Currently I am on the road in Wyoming. Heading out to Glacier National Park in a few days. My home base is in Arizona. Glad to get out of the heat.🦊

I have watched many many of your you tube clips but Randy's trail cruiser travel trailer is the best. It is so much more than just the usual in house tour. He gives a philosophy of 40 years on the road. I got a real sense of the freedom this man has been living with. His care free attitude along with his easy going jovial manner was very refreshing. This was a true representation of a true nomad not a 4 or 5 year self proclaimed expert. Randy has found his personal nervona and exudes a peacefulness that is truly catching. Thanks Bob and Randy! I'm preparing to shuck the trap, and head out on freedom road! I'm learning all I can from y'all on KZfaq to get a rig ready in about a year. For now, I created my Jamper (my Jeep Liberty in camping mode) to let me get little tastes of freedom, until the trap is sprung.
