Dhargyeling Tibetan Settlement Tezu was established in the year 1962. It was earlier situated in the Lohit District of (NEFA) and now falls in Arunachal Pradesh State which is fairly close to the Indo-Burmese (Myanmar) border. It is about 6 Km from the town of Tezu and its altitude of 450 feet above the sea level. The temperature during the summer months averages about 108 degrees Fahrenheit and coldest 3-degree centigrade during wintertime. The most difficult part is in summer because of high humidity and sometimes it is difficult to breathe as well. The average rainfall in a year is approximately 133 inches. There is a river called Tindolong (Lama River) which runs annually from camp 5 to 1 and meets the Brahmaputra river , which is of two miles flowing distance from the settlement. The local inhabitants of the area are mainly Mizos, Mishmi and Digaru Mishmi. But today one will find a very diverse community in the area due to migration of all kinds of people in the region.
In this video, I have shared my experience of Hitchhiking on the dangerous roads of Arunachal Pradesh. The condition of roads in Arunachal Pradesh is really bad & Currently I'm hitchhiking on the border roads which connects the rest of India to the Chinese Border. The people who leaves here are faces a lots of problems coz of the negligence of the Government. Traveling in NorthEast India is totally a different kind of experience ❤️🤗

As a Tibetan I would say that the facilitation india government provides for Tibetan refugees is such that no any country had facilitated any refugees community in the world, financially yes many countries providing us, but India facilitation such that in the world, Tibetan are known as best and successful refugees community around the world. We have separate settlements, schools, hospitals and even own central Tibetan administration. Many who grown up in India now lives abroad and are trying best to contribute back to India. We would like to thank Indian government and citizens of India for their immense support. 🙏 🙏🙏

Current China is a communist totalitarian government, previous China was Repunlic of China, and before that different dynasties. Today's China, i.e. People's Republic of China, forcibly annexed Tibet in 1959.

Tibet was independent country before red Chinese started invasion in 1950 s. In year 1959 Chinese troop reached in Lhasa the capital city of Tibet and 10th March same year Tibetans uprising was started against Chinese occupation. H. H. The 14th Dalai lama leave to exile from his summer palace Norbu-ling-kha on 17th March, 1959 and reached India border on 31st of March, 1959. H. H. The Dalai Lama and 10th panchen Lama were once invited to India for Buddha's 2500 year jayanti in 1956. When His Holiness was once again invited by government of India from border ( Tezpur) and temporary reside at Birla House in Mussoorie. In 1960 His Holiness shifted to Dharamshala till date. In India Tibetans are settled in 14 th different states and mostly settled in South India. Since, Red Chinese illegally occupied Free Tibet we Tibetan are living in three different free countries like India. Nepal and Bhutan. Now, Tibetans are scattered in more than twenty countries and struggle for freedom of Tibet through Ahimsa way. We have guru chella relation between India and Tibet since 7th century till now. We are always grateful of this great country and we will always thak you for such a wonderful Hospitality for Tibetans in past six decades. You're ignorant of history and is spreading fake news. Tibet has been part of China since the Yuan Dynasty in the 1200s. The theocratic Dalai Lama & his cohort took advantage of a weak central govt and internal instability to unilaterally declare independence & illegally separated from China. The central govt never recognise the declaration and no other country in the world recognise it including India. Of course when all the turmoil is over with the winner of the civil war having taken taken full control and is now strong & able to regain back control territories that it has lost control of, it will do so. You on the other hand is an exile separatist living in India and is trying to subvert the govt and is plotting to separate Tibet from China. You're now of course singing praises of India because they gave you refuge and a base to plot & subvert China's central govt and is making up all kinds of nonsense historical facts. That is understandable but you will be punished very severely if ever you try to do the same and is caught in Tibet, China.

Tibet was China's territory since Yuan dinasty (800 years ago). The title of Dalai Lama was given by China’s Ming emperor, Dalai meaning big ocean in Mongolian. Bro..We called lama camp with number 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. In that Tibetan’s school ground we played many cricket matches and football with my Tibetan friends. You made me emotional by showing me this place. Missing my friends of natun basti telluliang and Lama camp. Hope one day I will go back and meet my friends there, definitely I will play cricket with my Tibetan friends..

Tenzin is seems like a very decent boy but bulk of Tibetans fled to India in 1959 and not 1951. The IC or Identity certificate is the travel document issued by GOI to enable Tibetans to travel abroad and RC or Registered certificate is the documents thar allow Tibetans to reside in India. Former is contingent upon the later. On a side note, Many Tibetans from Tezu settlement are in Special Frontier Force or SFF and same is the case of Miao settlement as well.

Yes, I heard some factual errors but nothing that can’t be learned quickly. The more important point is that Tibet was invaded by China. Around 80000 Tibetans followed the Dalai Lama on or around the time he fled into exile to India in March 1959.
