Feeling Nostalgic...My Ancestral Home is in Dhaka Thanks for Showing my Motherland. Most of my family members migrated to India to save their lives after Anti Hindu Noakhali Riots... we have many Relatives there...you should try visiting in Durga Puja... you'll feel really good.

Kawran Bazar it is one of biggest wholesale market in Dhaka. If you will go Chankarpul, it is nearest to Dhaka Medical college then you will get more barta. Good to see Indian people in Bangladesh.

Pak slayer It is not 100% correct. If you see those who are minority people they are always oppressed by majority, it is not only in Bangladesh. Overall Bangladeshi Hindu is better life style than Pakistan or Afghanistan.

You should have visit Dhakeshwari Kali temple and Swahid (Bhasha) Smarak. Dhaka city has been named after Ma Dhakeshwari. And for the super sacrifices of the great student martyrs for their mother tongue - Bangla has ultimately given the birth of Bangladesh.

Looks like fish and chicken is much economic as compared to West Bengal. Koi fish of that size costs 800 in INR where as it's 200 / kg bangladeshi currency

there's another calculation... bangladeshis consume 4-5 times as much as a west bengal person does and they don't really cheap-out on food... moreover they have much faster metabolisms and because of the economies-of-scale prices may seem cheaper
