Nomadland is a 2020 American drama film based on the 2017 non-fiction book Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century by Jessica Bruder.
'Nomadland' won best picture, Chloé Zhao best director, and Frances McDormand best actress at the 93rd Academy Awards on April 25, 2021.
Chloé Zhao become the first woman of colour to be awarded best director for Nomadland, and the second woman after Kathryn Bigelow.

You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last few days xD

I wouldn’t be able to watch this knowing in America, supposedly a developed first world country, yet so many are displaced from a home and forced to live in RVs or tents. I see this in San Francisco.

This movie is a $AD reality of what our society has become and it will only get worse with the way that our country is being mismanaged and unless things improve significantly....We as people will only start see an increase for the future... :(-

Homelessness is a tragic reality for these poor elderly boomers. The film did not show the struggle of trying to keep up a demanding fast physical pace while working a 12-hour shift at Amazon, (with arthritis) or shoveling beets with bad knees, etc. Highly fictionalized view of poverty.

Sorry companies like Amazon actually employ very few people. That's the entire point. That is how we got into this mess.
