That run had it all Simon. Wonderful. Tough ascents, stunning mountain views, fast descents. I bet that water tasted good, even with the shrimps and insects. Well done all NTC and friends.

I tried trail run in Cawag, but the ground was slippery! I love the downhill run on the rocks though!

Though start with the flat tire, but I'm glad it did not cause you miss this run. The mountains were so beautiful and it was interesting to see a different type of terrain than what you normally run. Speaking of which, the lack of trees looked like it made for a windy adventure. What ended up happening to Bo and your guide? That water must have been so refreshing. Heck of a finish Simon!

Beau had to bail after the first peak due to time constraint. Mountains are bare because of deforestation. Locals have no other means of livelihood but to hunt deer so they drive them out by burning the forest. Quite sad to hear. The coves are worth visiting. We traversed to those beaches last year and it was really beautiful.

Never heard of this place in Subic before but it's so tempting to explore! Such a crazy long trail, gotta bring enough supplies or you're screwed it seems. The burst tire though...
