As a designer and artist, Stefanie use data-gathering and visualisation as a design process; taking seemingly ‘cold’ data and using it to communicate warm, subjective messages in her creative practice.
She speaks about her explorations in making data more engaging, memorable and accessible to an audience new to data (culminating
in her soon-to-be-published ‘data journal’ book with Giorgia Lupi: Observe, Collect, Draw!). She will show us how in an era of ever- increasing data, we all can - through channelling our inner ‘anoraks’ - start to view data through a kinder, more human-focused lens.
