Here's my thing... I have a friend who is the most important person in my life. They know me better than anyone and vise versa. Our relationship isn't romantic in any sense, but we're a bit past the point of it being completely platonic. Relationships can be in between, and often the labels and language we have don't always fit. Initially, i thought nomin might fit into a similar category as me and my friend, not exactly romantic but too close to be platonic. Part of me still thinks that, that their relationship is just very intimate and deep, and it doesn't need a label. The other part recognises the romantic tones of their relationship as that, romantic. Their relationship with one another is similar to mine and my friends, but very different in the fact that they have a much more romantic feeling than my friend and I do. I'm still uncomfortable in saying anything for certain about strangers, and their relationship is truly none of my business, but you have to acknowledge at some point that 'friends' just doesn't cut it when it comes to describing them. Sorry about the kinda rant but I feel like when ever people say 'theyre just close friends' they're just... Incorrect. I have an extremely close friend. In my opinion, there’s no more denying these 2 are "a thing" anymore. If you think otherwise, you have an agenda which blinds you from seeing the truth. For far too long, people have been ignoring and invalidating their behaviour and interactions. They might not be direct all the time, but I think that speaks volumes to the long-lasting friendship dynamic that has grown over the course of their lives. They don't need to prove to the cameras they're close because that really only matters between them and they'll display their affection only when they feel like it and do so when it comes naturally. Nothing is forced between them. They never outrightly say anything to us which would hint at them being together, but their body language sure does and it's incredibly loud. They constantly drop hints but because of the circumstances (both living in South Korea and being a public figure), it is neither safe for them to confirm it nor speak about their feelings. Before anyone comments or thinks I'm another delusional shipper, please actually take the time to know these boys and just know I am the biggest skeptic you'll ever meet, so know I have analysed everything with boulders of salt, yeah you heard it boulders not grains. This channel did a part 1 and part 2 which excellently captured the essence of the dynamics of their relationship since debut to now and it is a relationship that is far from platonic (in my eyes).
