@Curious Adil Sir, According to National Account Statistics report 2021, still GDP is calculated at market prices from product, income and expenditure sides. Is this mean we did not adopt calculating GDP at basic prices yet , as per the recommendations of UN system of national accounts. Also can you please make a video on GDP calculation from income side(like GNI) and expenditure(like PFCE ect) side and discuss the formulas in it.

Sir, Does Index of Industrial Production Plays any significant role in GDP estimation? What is the Link between IIP and GDP? Because, both relates to the production estimates of manufacturing sector.

GDP measures the production in all the sectors. Agriculture, Industry & Services. IIP Only measures the performance of Industries. GDP is value of total production in economy measured in Rupees or Dollars. IIP is an index, it traces the trends of production.

@@CuriousAdil Ok sir. But Do they use IIP values for GDP calculations as both are done by NSO?? Or do they use IIP just for knowing about the rise or fall in the trends of manufacturing sector?

@@CuriousAdil sir in Per capita income - Every individual along with high income person is calculated on the whole. Then individuals with low income range income calculated here shows high amount. dont we have to exclude the high income individuals as it shows on and average income we have top richest man in the world then how come we are lower middle income nation his income too calculated ?
