So Cloud goes back in time and brings Zack back to life. After this they agree to chase Sephiroth of the remake dimension.

Within Japanese business culture whatever the boss says goes completely overriding whatever decisions, ideas, and conclusions the staff under them may reach during the creative process. Metroid Other M is a fine example that sort of development process at its worst, where you have a boss who simply cannot be questioned by his subordinates marching a project into a grave.

One of the changes I am most looking forward to is the second Wutai War, which is definitely going to happen with all the foreshadowing. Perhaps some new characters in the form of Avalanche leadership? Many possibilities for new additions. Perhaps the existing big story beats will still happen, but how we get there may be very different...

The only problem with the remake is that it tried to make OG players re experience the game, but they had to add new things to make what is obviously coming unpredictable. And their old fanbase is dumb asf and just jump into conclusions that are not supported by strong arguments. Guys, if you want a boring 1:1 50 hrs remake then your lifes are truly boring. I myself hate repetitiveness so I welcome every change. And the OG game is wrote truly poorly by today's standards so an 1:1 is, thankfully, impossible.
