The line is “Red will have you “tree’d” before the morning comes”….when you hunt with dogs they usually chase their catch up a tree, it’s called having them “tree’d”. The dog chases them up a tree and stays there barking so they’re stuck there til the hunter comes. 🙂

Btw, I hope you do more of these. I love the storytelling in country music and I love watching ppl react to it for the first time. Country music loves to occasionally throw you a good Musical Motif song. Songs like “Don’t take the Girl” or “there goes my life” are more obvious MM, but the lyric “Ol Reds itching to have a little fun” applies as well because the meaning of it changes in the bridge of the song. Great Reaction.

He said, "Red will have you tree'd before the morning comes" The little one is into the song. She's adorable! The dog had himself a girlfriend. When the warden let him out to chase Blake he went to his girlfriend instead. The dogs had puppies which is where the "red haired blue ticks" comes from.

The other dog was a female. So when she got in heat. So red went to her instead of after him. Now Blake has Ole Red joints all over. He has great food, band, dance floor in the town in Oklahoma where he was raised a great big one in Nashville, one in New York.

Tree'd is a term meaning getting an animal stuck in a tree. Usually dogs do this for hunting.

I am a fellow Okie! Blake put out his first single in 1994 called Austin. I was 18 and I wore out the dance floor at our country bar. Blake doesn’t have a weak song in his catalog. I got to see Blake for the first time singing at the Oklahoma Opry when he was still rockin the mullet. Then I saw him in 2016 for the first time since then.

Tick hounds are great hunters & security. Curved k9 teeth, much different than a normal dog. I have a blue tick hound/ black lab mix & a blue tick hound/ pittie mix.

Blake Shelton is the biggest male country singer as of now. He has a huge catalog of hits!! You can't go wrong with Blake!! Try Blake Shelton...Boys Round Here ft. Pistol Annies. Which is a group his Ex wife started with some friends. But she still does mainly her solo stuff. You might want to check her out too! Tons of great hits!! Gunpowder and Lead is a great one!! Between Blake & his ex wife, you could probably fill the back of a truck with their awards!! Both have set records in Country Music!!

hOpe y'all listen again....you missed the entire story....It's about the female dog and Ol Red was used to getting some dog booty.... not playing.....when Blake escaped Ol Red wanted to to that get booty he hadn't had in a few days.....not playtime with another dog........ the very last verse talks about the lil red's puppies all over the south....
