So this is the original Mic Drop Korean version produced by PDogg who is BTS in-house producer. They added the dance breaks for the award show and sometimes they perform it at concerts a similar version =)

this is their camera practice for the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). That's why they are wearing name tags. The MAMAs are HUGE- involving China and Japan, as well, so the camera operators weren't familiar with them. Also, that performance was iconic.

I would have to agree with this since some music videos have so much going on that the choreography sometimes gets lost. Plus it is another way to see who well synced they are.

They practice for many hours so that nothing goes wrong and their movements are synchronized, a curiosity in the studio there is no clock and there is a system to cover the mirrors, there is a simulation of the stage

Arena's sorry but they do full sell out Stadium Concerts in the biggest Stadium on the planet not Arena's. There's a huge difference between 20,000 large Arena to the smallest Stadium of 40,000. They've done this version to 60-80,0000 people and in South Korean Award Show's. I did say the Remix is light. They do this to a live band as well.

7:19 BTS is helping keep hip-hop dance elements alive in more ways than one. J-Hope has a docu-series where he “goes back to his roots” and features different street dancing styles and performers (including his starting childhood dance crew) in each episode. It was released on Prime a few months ago. It’s called Hope On The Street. It has an accompanying album of the same name. No idea whether it’s copyright-safe to react to but you might want to check it out for your own enjoyment.

Transition kings. There are 4 versions of Mic Drop. This is the original Korean version. There is the Steve Aoki remix, the Desiigner remix, and the Japanese version. The dance break can be inserted into any of these versions. They work hard on their choreography. 10-12 hours a day at the beginning. K-Pop as an industry is a mixture of vocals, rap, dance, visuals (how they look and dress, including makeup). Most kpop groups dance, but no one dances like BTS.

Usually their dance practice (which are actually perfected performances) videos are the only place you'll see the full choreography to their songs. When performing live they also have to have enough breath to sing.

JHope is their lead dancer and they joke that he gives them mean looks when they go off timing so they try never to misstep. It’s really funny. JHope has a keen eye and it feels like he can see all of them no matter where he is on the stage.

Эта версия песни звучит по-другому потому что это оригинальная КОРЕЙСКАЯ версия, а то, что вы смотрели прежде был ремикс и песня была полностью на английском. И да, на концертах MIC DROP невероятна, впрочем как и все остальные песни BTS

Two of their members, Jhope and Jimin, have dance backgrounds. Hobi started dancing with a local dance crew at 10 and Jimin went to a performing arts high school for contemporary dance while also doing hip hop dance battles. They are most definitely keeping the craft alive! You should be able to check out their live performance of Mic Drop in Busan

Jimin’s second album is coming out on the 19th. He just released Smeraldo Garden Marching Band on June 28th. He’s one of the lead dancers. He loves dancing. 💜
