There are a lot of absolutely amazing performances, but this one is definitely one of my very favorites. It’s so unhinged and fun!

This concert was at the Yokohama Arena, on December 8 or 9, 2016, three years after their debut. Therefore his ages were: jin, 24; Suga, 23; J. Hope. 22; RM, 22; Jimin, 21; V, 20 (he had 22 days left before turning 21 years old.); Jungkook, 19. At the moment, their ages are: Jin, 31; Suga, 31; J. Hope, 30; RM, 29; Jimin, 28; V, 28; Jungkook; 26

There's no need for us to pick between the polished organized shows and the rowdy chaos because we typically get both lol. This song has choreography that they can do from beginning to end and there are times when they do it and times when they just go wild like they did here. Just like in the other concert you watched, there were songs with choreo there that they just ignored most of the choreo to vibe with the crowd. There are a lot of fan fave choreo so we'd never want to see them stop dancing that entirely but we also really enjoy them letting loose and being chaotic too. It's a nice balance and it's also good for them to not feel restricted by a choreo-only concert and having to do back to back stuff to exhaust themselves. So everyone's happy.

My daughter and I have seen them LIVE 4 times including the Rosebowl, SOFI stadium in LA and Regent stadium in Las Vegas. They are ALWAYS better LIVE and leave it all on stage. Fantastic performers….their shows are spectacle! Full audience engagement….we are all one together! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

This concert took place in Japan. You know Japanese are known to be the most quiet audiences in the world but these audiences are hyped up. Their audiences culture have been gradually changing.

The do a mix of full choreo, standing with mic's singing just the vocalist, they do the Rappers only, then you'll get a free for all where they do whatever the want but have to be at a certain part of the stage at a certain point to dance. It's organised chaos bascially which is what the greatest artists have always been able to do. Total Stage Commander.

My fav thing will always be jimin cracking up at the end that he can’t even sing his part lol

One of my favorite songs and performances. Taehyung was very chaotic like they let him off leash. The ending “Nikoniko nii” is a meme from an anime not part of the song. They indulged him adding that in but it was do random and funny Jimin absolutely collapsing in laughter barely able to get through the song is the best thing.

I love the mix always have done when it come's to concerts, it's where you see the real Artists, real stage performers who rule the stage.

And we should remember that BTS never have a support act either. 💜

attack on bangtan is such a prophetic song, their success story has come a full circle. when they did this performance in 2016, they didn't know that they would become superstars and successful in 2024

LOL Both the organized choreo and the crazy running around (and also the quiet, touching ballads) generally happen in the same show. Their stamina is INCREDIBLE.

Love all their older music. With that said BTS has not disappointed throughout their career. There is only one song due to the feature that I can’t listen to. The feature just didn’t match the song. There is a newer song “Run BTS” that is the closest to their older songs. JK is imitating the Godfather of KPop Seo Taiji Rap style in this song and I love it. BTS live are so much better than their recorded version. Loving your BTS journey. 💜🫰

I've been watching this performance for 5 years now, and I still have no explanation for it! 😂😂

After such a performance, backstage they have their feet in a basin with ice, a bag of ice on their necks, and an oxygen mask on their face. Five minutes later, back on stage and another drive. All this is shown in documentaries about BTS.

That was an interesting question you asked. My journey began with a V focus Boys With Luv I saw it on Instagram and I couldn't believe what I saw. Taehyung had so much facial expression true star power but I watched it again and again. Of course now I like all the BTS members they're all amazing. But I will always consider V to be my bias. His voice is truly incredible as well.

I love their older stuff as much as their newer stuff. They have a song for every mood & occasion. I have seen them live, dec 2021 we flew out to LA for it. At the time, i was 49, my kid that came with was 18, & our friend who joined us was 77! I met her in the comment section of a BTS reaction video 😂. I enjoyed everything they did/performed , i took short vids of most songs, but spring day i recorded in its entirety. Theres somethinj about hearing what, 60-70k fans (idr the exact number, but SoFi stadium was sold out) sing the "whoa oh oh whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh ooohhh" part at the end of that song was pure magic. I also really enjoyed love myself ... Not only is that the song i told my kids would pull me back from the Upsidedown (In reference to the show stranger things) but Tae (V) wore a pink guard costume from Squid Game & Jin had little pigtails like the Doll from the red light green light game lol. I hope i get to see them again when they come back, but we shall see 🤞🏻 💜💜💜

I like Jin’s live performance with astronaut on a Coldplay concert! It’s so touching I’m always in tears!😭💓 and also forever young on a Wembley stadium when their fans started singing as a surprise. Literally no words need😭

I love watching their choreography in mvs and dance practice videos, and some of their live productions are incredible, but in a concert setting, the fun “non-choreographed” parts are my favorite. They’re so fun, and the way they interact with each other and ARMY just makes you feel like you’re a part of it, even if you’re in the 400 level seats! 💜

I've seen bts twice live! Once on 9th October at the O2 in 2018, and then again in 2019 on 1st June at Wembley Stadium - both absolutely amazing experiences, they bring so much energy to the stage!

I saw them live 3 times. Once in Berlin in 2018. Twice in Wembley in London in 2019. They are amazing live and their concerts are so much fun. Second day in Wembley when we sang Young Forever for them is one of the best memories I have. It was special.

I was 39 when I saw them in Fort Worth during the 2018 Love Yourself tour. It was one of the last smaller venues they performed before they switched to mostly stadiums. I couldn't pick just one song as a favorite that's impossible. But I will say the solo songs of each member really stood out to me. Especially Jin's Epiphany, V's Singularity, Jimin's Serendipity and Suga's See Saw. It was a magical experience. I managed to get tickets to the Speak Yourself tour too. When it was cancelled I held out hope for so long. But then my refund came and I admit, I cried.

I saw them live during the PERMISSION TO DANCE in Las Vegas . Best concert ever, when they performed “Home”, I couldn’t be happier 😭😭

So much fun & chaos & energy! people these days overuse the term "born for the stage" & I've been disappointed by many artists/group's live performances... Yet BTS is truly the definition of that! Many of their songs I love the studio versions, BUT I would always rewatch the different live versions because they are too good with live bands, their chemistry, stage presence & high-quality performance. The crazy thing is they do it so consistently, literally EVERY stage, EVERY song they really give it all. There are times when their bodies and throats are exhausted & giving up, yet they still keep going for the crowd for ARMY.

I recommend the song Ddaeng on stage

Absolutely anything live is fire! On another note, every ARMY knows earplugs are a must! If I'm not mistaken, ARMYs noise levels were measured and equal being next to a jet engine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. 💜Gigi

That while concert was chaotic and fun. Love it! I love all they do. There is a good mix of choreographed and not iarts. They also stop and speak to ARMY in parts they call "ments".

I tried for years to get tickets to a U.S. concert with no luck…Armies be crazy when in the queue 😂. I was finally able to get floor tickets on the aisle at their Permission to Dance concert in Las Vegas on day 4 and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to hands down! Also, being on the aisle, all of the members rolled right past me on the trolley so I was literally within arms length! We legit blew the roof off that stadium, especially when the announcement for their new album Proof came on the screen at the end. This concert you just watched a performance from had so many good highlights and yes, they were all having a blast being their naturally chaotic selves.

I’m actually kinda surprised you missed the iconic “niko niko nii” reference as an anime reactor, it’s actually an anime meme that went viral from Love live!School idol project, given the back story of the anime it’s actually very fitting with BTS although I doubt that’s the reason V used it, he likes animes and there used to be more references to animes he liked back in the earlier days. Jungkook also watches animes he recently talked about watching demon slayer and jujutsu kaisen when it was airing weekly, and Jimin was once inspired by One piece zorro so much that he learnt kendo to be a swords man like Zorro, there’s also one piece references in some of BTS lyrics, and that one time Suga cosplayed as Naruto for a Halloween theme, honestly it’s so iconic that he actually looks great as Naruto I haven’t seen a better cosplay minus the hair colour.

They released the Attack on Bangtan japanese version in June 2014, so this concert had to be shortly after. JK would have been 16-17, and Jin 21-22. Probably they are singing in Japanese! Did you notice JK rapping and V's growly voice? That's early BTS for you.

Funny you say it was like a playground, because in 2019 on their love yourself: speak youself tour they had a whole inflatable castle on stage! I was at their wembley show (they sold two days there) and it was awesome!

I was 44 Was lucky enough to see all 4 LA and all 4 Vegas shows during PTD Seeing/Hearing Bulletproof The Eternal live..... gutted me because it's such a special song between BTS and ARMY GoGo and Anpanman got me misty eyed because I never thought I'd get to hear those live lol Black Swan live is amazing (Literally every second they are on stage in front of you is just horribly awesome lol)

I suggest you watch their Tiny Desk concert .. you get to see them sing 3 wonderful songs !! Also the BTS Festa LIVE .. you’ll be amazed !! I’ve seen BTS concert 3 times - they are amazing - above & beyond ! You get post concert depression after because they are so amazing!!! Their energy is so high - they are also better LIVE ! They perform like rent is due ! They set the bar so high it’s hard to watch other western artist after watching BTS 😆

There are far far far too many to chose from so I don't even try. Yes I've seen them live at Wembley Stadium the second night. Seen many groups and bands over the years including Queen, Dire Straits, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, U2 and many many more but BTS Top them all. Just image having 7 Freddy Mercury's on stage all at once that's how good they are live.

I've never seen them in person 😒 This performance, along with some others from the 2016 Japan Epilogue concert are some of my all-time favorites! (So at this point JK would be 19 and Jin would be 23.) I watch these regularly. Also recommend If I Ruled the World, No More Dream w/ dance break, Boyz with Fun, and Dope from the same concert. They were having so much fun and were really on fire!!! 💜

Would recommend you watch & react to BTS 2021 Sowoozoo Daechwita & Chicken Noodle Soup. all the members participate, even so Daechwita was originally Yoongi's solo and CNS was Hobi's solo with Becky G. Sowoozoo was a live concert done for their yearly anniversary but it happened during covid. Their production costs were really high bc they had to put all the screens & zoom chat the audience to create a live atmosphere. Hope you enjoy them. This song has a Korean & Japanese version, they performed the Japanese version in this concert.

Did you notice? They are rapping and singing in Japanese! They have several Japanese language albums, as well as Japanese versions of Korean songs.

They sold out Wembley. J-hope headlined Lollapalooza. RM did a live concert for his Indigo album at Rolling Hall which was a dream of his. BTS, RM, and V all have Tiny Desk concerts. Suga has a world tour under his belt as Agust-D, plus a collab with Psy, That That. Both the MV and the live performance at Psy's concert are fun. It depends on what you're in the mood for. BTS delivers.

they have had a concert at the O2 Arena, The Love Yourself tour. I would say Japan concerts are different though, as Japan concert ettiquette is just different. They don't scream that loud, which I think is refreshing, I wouldn't mind experiancing a concert there to feel the difference in vibe.

I would recommend Anpanman live. It was basically them playing on stage

If you watch the intro performance trailer video is an response for their live performance on MBC new year celebration 20141231 also named 2014 mbc music awards there they had an intro to their song Danger. The camera work for the live show is really bad, the camera is all over the place so you don’t get the full experience that was meant to be shown. Also at the time they were a newer group that had been active for little over a year from a small company that didn’t have the power to have a say in how the camera work should be done. So they did this video to show how it was meant to be filmed with three different camera angles and this is that they still use with some new things added when they do their videos.

Hmm about difference between concerts there isn't that big actually, it is more on you heh bc what you saw with Mic drop and Run BTS, that were two first songs, start of concert, they always start with choreo focused performance, and Attack on bangtan is song in middle of concert, in "freestyle" section, so yeah in Busan concert also were songs that they did what they wanted... It is part of every concert they do sectionos do choreo then do more cusual things then go back to choreo or solos if they song solo song, then go back to cusual performance then is "Army time" it is part that song are to enjoy with fans even more, like super popular songs with fans orvsongs made for fans do all sings and they usually go closer to people in this parts... So yeah there are different parts of show, so you don't have to choose. Attack on bangtan hmm song was named this way bc of Attack on titans anime ;)

Thanks for this reaction. You are so right: V' voice is something I can not understand even years being Army. My husband used to refuseto listen BTS because me and my daughter were so addicted. Now he is BTS army because of V's voice "the truth untold" entrance and he listen it every single day. Im a JIMIN ultimate bias (V second bias). jimin is my favourite singer in the world for almost 5 years. I do anything for him. I feel happy seeing people loving him. He deserves all the love in this world and also all the BTS members. I love all of them like crazy.

Hi Allon, since they were in Japan, did you notice they were singing in Japanese and not Korean (their native language)? Speaking about the O2 Arena in London, BTS performed there for 2 days in 2018 and at Wembley in 2019. Small world, isn't it? 💜
