Great spot! I have written the wrong equation. I do a lot of copy and paste when I make the animation and have forgotten to edit this text. The first equation should read x + 2y = 6 🤦♂️

In many of these questions there are 2 solutions for x. This is completely fine.

Students watching this video ought to be able to factorise really. I will make a factorising video but that is more like a grade 6 skill than grade 8/9. Sorry :(
