Over the years I have worked with musicians from different countries and cultures covering a diverse portfolio of genres; however one of my most memorable experiences has to performing in the recent Classical Music / Opera Concert with Murat Tenor​ and his team comprising of Hakan Ozdemir​ and Guzel Teymour-Ganieva​. Our performance covered Arias in Russian, Italian & German, well known classical English songs, instrumental pieces and even some traditional Turkish folk songs with Operatic arrangements.
Watching a live opera performance is pure listening bliss filled with emotions that can only be captured in live as opposed to on an audio. And performing with the opera singers and musicians could not have been a more divine experience.
After playing in this concert, I now understand why in the1990s classic movie “Pretty Woman”, Edward (Richard Gere) took Vivian (Julia Roberts) to the opera performance to win her heart!!!
