The Dyson is a great product, but the price.... come on. Wish this video had specified that it was comparing the Bondi Boost to the Dyson. Especially considering the fact I can barely even afford the Bondi Boost right now. College life, right? haha.

Thanks for the review but I guess this is about pros and cons of Bondi boost and not a comparison wit the dyson products? It's critical to note that the price difference is huge and I guess the performance of Bondi Boost should be assessed independent of the performances of other "expensive" range available in the market.

It is a Bondi Boost product review along with a comparison with Dyson because that’s what I use on a daily basis. I have mentioned it at the end that if you can afford the price range of Dyson that’s what one should go for but if not then Bondi Boost is a good affordable alternative.

Completely agree. I was kinda ticked off by the way it was being so heavily compared to dyson. Not many people have the money laying around to buy a dyson, which is what makes products like the Bondi Boost that much better. Getting a pretty decent product for a price that's far more affordable. For example, I've had my Revlon for almost 2 years.... never failed me once.

I just watched another video and if you use the pro setting it bursts cold air which is better for hair and seals the curl better

After using the high heat setting, the cold air is not actually cold. It’s warm. :/

Rather off-putting review of the Bondi boost - especially, without detailing that there are 3 heat settings and whether it is less noisy on lower blow setting. Also the quality of the brush for its supposed easiness of glide through the hair. I guess this presents badly when you are biased towards the Dyson, which is not a balanced comparison.

Thanks for that, ive gpt a dyson airwrap and have been thinking of getting the bondi boost. I might go and buy a bigger barrel brush end for the dyson.

Great review thank you. I see online, there is three heat settings but cant see the temperatures! Also that its not compatible for using in other countries with a travel plug which is a big no no from me!

Hey! Yeah there are 3 settings but it doesn’t tell how hot it is. There are other alternatives for other countries too, which might be even cheaper.

It does have a cool air setting but it’s not cool air, it’s warm air. I don’t think it would damage hair though.

Does it smell like burning plastic when you turn it on, and is the hotness of it concerning?

Hey! No it doesn’t smell like that and yes I find the heat concerning because it is prone to damage your hair but it is a personal thing. A lot of hair straighteners also have high heat and people still use them. It’s not like you’ll end up burning your hair but I don’t like to use so much heat on my hair.

hey is the brush still working, i heard some reviews about it rattling or breaking down after a few months, and since you've had some time for this product, what do you think? im considering between this and the Revlon root booster. For contest, I have long medium-thick straight hair

I have the same type of hair. and have had the Revlon one for nearly 2 years now.... it is a GREAT product. Havent had any heat damage either, as I always use a heat protectant product.... which makes all the difference.

How much is the Dyson? Also the bo do brush doesn't look round? Is it paddle brush shape?

Dyson is 799 AUD. Bondi boost brush is oval shaped, not exactly round or flat.
