Surat, Gujarat has huge varieties of Non veg food, I decided to explore food on the streets of Surat. It was a great experience treat for the taste buds.
In this non vegetarian food journey i explored Chicken Khawsa, Pomfret fish cooked in traditional method, Kali mirch chicken, Bheja fry and mutton seekh kabab.

Surat is heaven to eat food and you can go to village Maroli,to its different types of dishes of chicken and mutton, its distance from surat city is 20 km.

Very interesting! Khao Suey is a Burmese dish that my family very much enjoy (my grandfather worked in Rangoon up to World War Two, and my dad, uncle, and aunts were brought up there in the Armenian community), so I am guessing there must be some Burmese migration to and from Surat to bring this dish back. Perhaps in the renowned sailing or diamond cutting industry (Burma is famous for Ruby's)? Nice video.

For a change this was a non vegetarian video.Although I don't watch non vegetarian food videos I still watched this video due to your spirit and involvement in the video.It gives me a dirty feeling to watch non vegetarian food as I am a strict vegetarian and don't even consume onion and garlic at home but consume it outside of home.I still watched this video because you made it.

Promfret is not easily available in place like Surat and from what I see people in Gujarat prefer veg food over non veg. Also considering the unique preparation with zero oil,I feel 400 is just ok.

it was quite cheap in fact... i was expecting this to be Rs 600 plus pomfret is expensive fish.....

yes Rs 400 was quite the right price you can't expect any thing less than this... i was in Goa few days back... you expect fish to be cheap there but it costs much more than what i saw in Surat......
