Nongthangleima Seishak is a traditional Manipuri folk song popularly sung during the festivity of Lai-Haraoba. The music played in this song is a simple yet very rare combination of the two indigenous musical instruments from two different parts of the world, namely Pena (which is considered one of the oldest musical instrument of Manipur) and Charango (which is also a string instrument, popular in Bolivia).
The idea of making this beautiful collaboration between these two instruments comes as an experiment to produce something unique and meaningful music after we met Alfredo's Music Dojo, a professional musician from Bolivia. However, this is a very humble and honest attempt to bring up something like this to the viewers and music lovers. We deeply appreciate any kind of support and encouragement and earnestly request to forgive any shortcomings, considering the fact that it is just an initial attempt.
