Yeah seriously. The crazy thing to me was that it feels like it just came out of nowhere, and he just did it on a whim. Shows a lot of just general boxing skill especially keeping in rhythm with Vargas' movement.

@@dondonlumacad8313 really, you must be a casual...he fought Inoue when he was 36 and 39 yrs old and he still gave him trouble. He should be retired but his heart and the money can't be passed! You can't discredit his skills. He's not a brawler, but a tactician, and not a lot of Filipino boxers are like that.

Listening to Sandhagen talk about Nonito Donaire and taking inspiration from him. He really does. If you see the way Nonito switches stances into a big left, you’ll find that Cory does the same thing in his fights. He dropped TJ Dillashaw doing that same technique.

that is NOT a dempsey roll, for those people that has no brain or whatsoever, DR has to be flat footed and every punch must carry the momentum to throw another punch, donaire is just changing angles and potshotting

At 7:19, Nonito throws a right cross and he is about to follow up with a left uppercut. He stops, literally looks at his fucking opponent and stops and decides to change distance because Vargas is too close then throw the left uppercut. It might not seem that impressive, but holy shit does it indicate how much this guy is thinking in a fight. I came here after watching his impressive fight against Inoue, and it all makes sense.
