The 1v1 tiebreaker clause was included in the rules of the tournament and was only a last resort. All the teams were informed. The rules of 1v1 game mode are in the game mode's description. Your boy lost.

He got outplayed fair and square. First kill was the little bit faster execution by Armel and second kill was the lvl 6 advantage that was used wisely. I think Sumail would win let's say BO5, but he got played here. Not reading the 1v1 rules is only his faullt. : )

SEA players are S tier in laning seriously, but when it comes to teamfights and big plays like smoking they fall off.

I remember the 1v1 same hero only mid hardcore mod we use to play no items who gets the first 2 kills win with the old hero stats its was fun

I think a lot of commenters (and the casters) are cherry picking the networth differential because sumail's was higher at some points when it's not the best indicator of who is winning. CS, levels and kills are what matters most. Armel maintained a lead in this regard and killed sumail twice, we can't escape that reality and deny this was a very impressive victory for armel. wp

Back in early dota 1 days we did 3 kills 2 towers no runes, all about bottle refill w courier and for dominance, show them they are a noob, you go Dagon and zap them. Sumail was ultra bad in this showcase, when he came back with the water rune he had lane advantage could have fought there, also choked on the razes last fight. Not knowing when you are strong when you are weak makes you lose any mid 1v1 even if u have god cs
