@@Dualities Thank you for your opinion my friend. My view is an honest opinion of 9 years of my 75 years of lifes assesment of what I deem to be a good person. I see that almost all of youtubers make money from what they can make interest in. It is what their buisness IS. I do not make money from anything on youtube, but I do not begrudge anyone who does, I believe Steve to be no less a buisnesman who is doing what he started out doing all those years ago in stating he was about gaming for gamers. FYI Steve, food depends on what plant you put in the pot. Some trees add 400 or so food. Just clear the bushes around a tree with a whip before trying to fill the pot with it.

i will never get it too, but it's fine like bro a paid goofy ahh crab which is absurdly hard to tame, only spawns at lvl one and all you get is a creature revived once every 24hrs? cool, fun mechanic. pvp players wont have 24 hours to wait, pve players won't need to wait 24hrs, they'll just tame another one.

Easier way. Grab high level fire wyvern land next to pool start tame use fire breath to kill creatures fire breath doesnt hurt oasisaur rinse repeat till tamed!

@@randomman4938 48k hours in 5.5 years, that leaves only 18k hours not playing. In order to have 30k hours played in 5.5 years, they would've had to play 16 hours, every day for all 5.5 years. That leaves 8 hours a day for everything else. I think someone is full of shit.

You are paying 30 bucks for multiple dinos coming to all the dlcs in the future. You also get a bunch of cosmetics and things for your base. You also get access to the train. There is alot and if you play ark alot the 30bucks is definitely worth it.

Also make sure you use the highest drag weight thing you can -- A giga will tame the oasisaurus much faster than an argy. Also you don't usually lose the soul -- we tamed with a rex and the rex came out as a baby in the pool.

Tip: you will reload much faster in third person than you do in first person view. Nearly 3 times faster.

@NOOBLETS Love your vids, been here since ASE. I tried with weapons for 2 attempts before i noticed my lightning was not damaging the essence. So we put 2 lightnings next to essence and just blasted them out of air and at each other/essence to easily tame it.

i used a paracer with platform saddle, 4 foundations, 1 gen, 4 auto turrets, 200 ammo in each. sat back and relaxed. 0 effort. Just check your settings on those turrets to target wild life. easy tame. hardest part was setting up the paracer, its moving around a lot up there so id take some fall damage. good idea to bring a flyer and some medbrews.

I have a idea get like a high lvl rex maybe and try 3 get it on the oasissour if u do that killing the vaultures will be ez and bc a oasissour has 25k healt it wont die unless ur rex is 2 high lvl o btw put like a rex in the pool bc with some dinos u get more progress with the tame

Quetz with gen and gun turrets makes it even easier :D. Park it on the water and just sit back and relax with slight movement to counter the jank of ark :D

it'll eat automatically if you walk over bushes with it. Of just throw other plant foods on the ground No need to go through the pot thing.

Try placing tamed large animals (passive or attack) around the growing bird, so the vultures cannot reach the argy.

Tamed mine with a thorny dragon and used a ascended pike,just crouched down by the resurrection creature and attacked up at the vultures,my thorny came back as a baby and I cryoed it

I actually became a pro at taming these by accident... They tame like bloodstalkers and require High stat HP creatures(level it up and max only HP stat) > drag weight > creature level Firewyverns breath doesn't hit the oasisurs and does significantly more DMG than flamethrower so you can wipe out the birds fast. Failed 8 times before figuring this out but with a high HP argy I tamed one by wave 3 on official pve with 3x

Bit of a cheese, but if your on solo and your reviving dino is about to die you can just save and exit the game when you come back the reviving dinos health will be at 100% again and the taming progress will reset to the last wave (eg so if your 40 % tamed on wave 8 of vultures you can save and exit and it will begin that wave 8 again only the dinos health will be max again) Enjoy :)

By using a dino cart with turrets if set ontop of the oasisaur it will only shoot dinos comming at it allowing you to tame it with almost no work put in.

So, Tested rare flowers and they work like a charm. Had a prim sword, 2 sets of primi flak, and a 2 shields with some cooked meat for food+health, and cactus sap to eat for hydration. Tamed a spawned in lev 150 Oasisaur using spirit of generic 225 Raptor, eating the Flowers before they get to the fountain. Peice of cake!!!

Would this work??? Step 1. Tame a Quetzal on The Island and craft a Quetzal Platform Saddle and upload it to your ARK Data. Step 2. Go to Scorched Earth. Step 3. Craft a Generator, 2 Heavy Auto Turrets and Advanced Rifle Ammo then place on Quetzal platform. Step 4 Land Quetzal on top of Oasisaur. Step 5. Start the taming process and turn on the turrets and watch all the vultures die and get 100% taming efficiency???

@NOOBLETS So we did my method but stayed above the Oasisaur and made sure the turrets on the platform saddle couldnt target the Oasissaur. We started the taming process it was 100% success not one vulture made it near to the death essence in the water. So you now have the 2nd best way to tame an Oasisaur. I dont see any better strat then what we did.

I would have tried putting a larger dino over the essence, hoping the vultures would hit that dino instead. Also, a flock of aggressive argys or another dino might have worked.

Thank you for another great video. Food is a problem. So, I play Single player with mods and the food potion from the RR Medival mod which you can make in the RR Medieval alchemy smithy does work on this creature:) I am thinking of placing a tek shield on his back. I have not tried iyt yet. Need to make one.

Just dont use a wyrm to eat all the vultures. The damage also hits the creature and you end up killing what you are trying to tame

So I'm guess I am try the wyvern. The problem I keep getting is the vulture would fly under and in the oasis. I can't shoot it or attack it since the oasis gets hit by my weapon or dino

I was guessing the dino would dictate how much health it would have, I went in there with a fab pistol, longneck rifle and some cheap tames I lost on day one thinking it was gonna be easy peacy lemon squeezy, boy was I WRONG.
