Great video! I was hoarding crystals for a long time in prep for Executor but it was slowing down everything else too much. I will probably start hoarding some more as I get closer. I fully agree with rule 7. It was pretty much the thrust of what we discussed when you had me on your channel. I've got 21k crystals ready for Leviathan and I've got everything else ready. I haven't refreshed anything except conquest and I'll have a 6.7 star Leviathan on day one as an f2p and an easy unlock in August.

Good advice on the Capital ships. I unlocked Executor this week and managed to get it to 5 star, but that doesn't get me in the top 20. I'll be saving crystal as of today :-). It'll give me time to Finish my Farms while I'm doing it

Disagree a bit with #2. Sometimes the new stuff is so good it is worth switching your farm. I was working on SEE when Jabba came out and I decided to switch my farm. Jabba opens up several new things - Smuggler's Run 2, multiple nodes in ROTE TB, etc - it seemed totally worth it to get him sooner and wait on SEE.

I got CLS like 2 months after he came out so my CLS team is like him at relic, c3p0 at relic and the rest at g11 or 12 and my GAS team is a bit sad but I’ve been working towards them getting to relics

When I first started I had Pokémon fever. I had to catch them all. I’m planning on just doing a roster clean up for the rest of the year. Taking most of teams to be at relic levels.

I hoarded crystals for when I unlocked Executor, took it to 5 stars + 45 blueprints when I unlocked it last month, and then saved enough crystals to take it to 7 stars this month. It has only been a couple of days, but I went from struggling to stay in the top 50 in fleet arena at 5 stars to top 15 in fleet arena immediately after taking it up to 7 stars. I timed my fleet battle attempts a little better today and was credited at #9. I think hoarding crystals and prestige is sound advice to keep Executor / Profundity farming from dragging on too long and watching their utility at 5 stars / 6 stars diminish along the way.

I'm so glad I already got my JKRevan to R5 but I could get DRevan but haven't bc I don't have the rest of the team yet so it'd be useless when I need to finish like 3 or more teams first. I have been trying to get all my relics to R5 and stop there for now bc I feel like getting to R5 isn't that much resources but beyond that requires a lot more farming of harder resources to get. I was thinking g12 and R5 would be fine for my teams for a long while.

Early on the guild search will allow you to join guilds that have a higher gp than any recruiting method would bring you. My guild is 180,000 million gp rn & we have 6 players that are below lvl 85. I haven’t talked to guild recruiters but the last time I tried they were wanting to put me in guilds with only 10-15 million gp which gives me less resources than my current guild does. Edit: basically what I’m trying to say is that if you are willing to spend a while narrowing down your search, you could find some gold mind guild that will allow you to stay as long as you participate as much as you can. We get the 17 million box every time (and every once in a while the 25 mil), territory war if you don’t have good teams dump them in the back the opponents never usually make it that far anyways). The downside of this guild is that there is more variation of gp & rosters. Some are brand new & some have gls. Meaning that there isn’t a whole lot of geo teams, so if you want wat it would probably not be a long term guild for you (great to start in though). This guild does not force anyone to farm anything. They will give recommendations on what you should farm if you ask, but they don’t force anything. Before Krayt they wanted SLKR’s for a general direction (as a long term farm not as the only farm). Rn if you ask they’d probably say get old republic/Mandalorians for the raid.

Ill have 7* Levi on day one. You can refresh 19 times, do the one attempt you get then buy the 5 packs for 1250 per. A little over 25k crystals total.

I like to have 3farms going, 1- shards, 2- gear 1-13, 3- relics, If a new toon is usuable I'll take them to gear8 and unlock the needed skills(I.e. Captain Rex)

I’m starting to find it really hard in fleet arena shard with hyperdrive and bossk and crystal hoarders I’m only at level 81 and rank 1 in my shard is a rank 7 home one who is working towards profundity and that person will be there by the end of the year. 😢

As a long time player of SWGOH, I will say that for the most part I do agree with your rules, though there are some that I think you should either reframe or be more cognizant of your explanation as it relates to life in the later years. For context, I'm a Kyber 1 player, who has been playing for over 7 years (mostly FTP) who is both GAC/TW and ROTE focused. One thing to start off with, you do not need your capital ships at 7 stars to start, and in fact for Profundity, it isn't required at all. A 4-star profundity can easily mirror a 7 star and win. You can also counter a 7-star profundity using basic ships that you get access to early in the game. For GAC, if your Executor or Profundity isn't 7 stars, put it on Def. There are off meta fleet counters for them which work better in most cases than the meta fleet. As an example, FO vs. Exec standard, and Chimera vs triple attackers (FO works as well, but its riskier) and Executrix or Mal vs. profundity. Not utilizing all your crystals (resources) because you're "saving" for a 7-star capital ship will put you behind in other areas of the game. From an ROTE standpoint, Negotiator works in 2 of the first 4 planets on LS. IF (big if here) you were going to farm 1 from 4-7 star day 1, I would say make it Executor just because of the added ROTE need. I wouldn't focus on specific teams to build, and instead I would focus on specific characters to build. In your example, from this video you were referring to JKR. He's a great character, but there are people on his "team" who are absolutely not necessary, Mission, Zalbaar, T3 as examples. There is no reason to gear them past what is needed to get JKR for a LONG time. Bastilla, Jolee, and Juhani have additional merit beyond the JKR team. Juhani is more of a luxury than Jolee or Bastilla, but her Omicron is nuts in TW which immediately gives her more credibility than Zalbaar for example. Another example is having all the GL's isn't needed and you should REALLY think about whether or not to farm them with the exception of Jabba. Jabba should be the first GL anyone goes for, period! If you're going to insist on teams, I would focus on teams that have a low barrier to entry. As an example, Dr. Aphra, all of her character farms are in the first 4 levels of energy, whether its LS/DS/Cantina, only require R5, and all of them are viable! With her and her 3 droids, she can kill nearly every team out there. Cere is another example, to get JKCK its G12 and he's a MONSTER! Not to mention Cere with UFU's is broken and Merrin elevates a NS team to nearly godlike status. Starkiller is another great example, 4 characters all to R5 and all the characters you farm are great and can be combined with others to make amazing teams. Another rule you mentioned, get character shards before you get gear from GET/GET2/GET3. I can see this to a point, but there are a couple that you can skip, and your roster won't suffer for it. KAM is a great example. As your roster gets bigger, you'll find less and less use for him. He's great with oQGJ when you're in the Chromium, Adronium and lower level Kyber, but once you hit K2...he loses his luster. The reason for that is because there are other characters, who are better at his job and who are needed for other things. I say this as someone who has KAM at G8, and I haven't found a reason to level him further. Instead of focusing on the character shards, I would follow your original advice, farm a character until it is done, then move to the next character. Due to the way things work, you'll notice that you'll farm 3-4 characters at a time and can do so quickly. If you want to grab a pack or 2 of a character with your GET while you're gearing up the characters, that's fine, but I wouldn't forsake the gear for the character as you're not utilizing all your resources. Those were the main things I wanted to point out. Life is very different once you hit K2 where being able to off meta GL's is more important than the GL themselves. In otherwords, the GL is nice to have, but there is only 1 GL that can't be oneshotted by an off meta, and that is JMK, due to CAT. Without CAT, even JMK can be off meta'd...quite easily. Lastly, I didn't hear you mention this at all. MODS, MODS, MODS! Mods are such an important part of the game and you should be farming these with at minimum your 50 crystal refreshes every day. Great mods make an "ok" team do magical things. They are so important that mod requirements are needed for things like Reva shards or KAM shards. So yes, farming MODS is so much more important than a 7 star capital ship. Either way, I hope this helps with some context from someone much further in the journey than the account you showcased in this video. Reason i'm going for JML now is cuz he gonna fix my Roster on the Go, Fix my Bounty Hunter Characters/Ships up for Millenium falcon. Fix my CLS team because they are required Get Wampa up And when i finally have JML? I'll need its staple Squad Arena Team of: JML, JKL, GAS, JKR and whatever other jedi. Will involve me Fixing my GAS And as a Side-Farm after JML work on Jedi Knight Cal Kestis to bring JML to greater Heights. Recently got Malak to 7 stars and now focussing on the 3 Guild characters for Jedi Knight Luke. (Rolo, Wampa and Hermit Yoda) It's a long grind, but its for the better. and Capital Games loves distracting us with MindGames about New 'META' Characters. Now it feels especially pointless for CLS, because its like they are nerfing CLS on purpose, every Marguee Character recently has the purpose to being tested against CLS team. Like CLS is on their target list. They nerfed Malgus with Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, now its CLS's Turn...

So I have exec 7*, prof 4*, easy 1st place fleet arena. Whats the point of pushing for 7* prof? It works pretty well at 4*, not that nessesary for rote, it wont make much difference in GA and it would cost 20k crystals, whats the point?

I don’t know how people have gear hoarded for Gl unlocks. I spend all the gear I have to finish the requirements ASAP, then I farm the gear for them after I start tickets and unlock them.

I'm soooo close to unlocking executor (just need 20 shards for my bomber) but I've also just unlocked Malevolence too, should I use my prestige on Malevolence, save it for Executor or spread it out between the two, upgrading their best abilities first and slowly upgrading the two ships bit by bit?!!

getting into a good guild should be the first thing u do and always move into better guilds as your roster grows , its the one main regret i had for the first year i played

I don't know about the Executor advice. It depends on what your fleet shard is doing. I rushed it and just got it two days ago at 4 stars, and no one has 7 stars yet. I say do as little as you need to get 1st everyday and get GAC holds. It's about 25,000 crystals to refresh to 7 stars day 1. Say that's the difference between 1st and 10th in fleet arena, that's 4 months it would take to break even with that investment just with crystals. If you spent those crystals on other stuff, your whole roster is way ahead otherwise. So that's more than 4 months to break even with where that progress would have been. My plan is to just match my fleet shard if I need to to keep up with 1st.

I personally disagree with the last rule. There are much better ways to spend crystals than 999 for 10 shards. I always get a hold with my exec. at 6 stars on defense and have since I got it about a year and a half ago. And even when it was at 4 stars facing 7 star execs. and profundity’s I could always get to number one in fleet arena. It just doesn’t feel worth spending all those crystals for a minimal return on investment. I completely agree about the prestige though.
