NOOO! My Active 2.0 won't shut off when the trigger is released!!

9 ай бұрын1st, Thank You active products! without them I wouldn't have this machine to play with. Last week it Bagan not shutting off. I reached out to active and they gave me this troubleshooting method shown in this video. it was SUCCESSFUL! .....for a bit... once I foamed my coupe and rinsed it, the 2.0 wouldn't shutdown yet again. soooo, I believe she DEAD! The stop feature took a vacation...

They use a brass valve in an aluminum housing. No matter what you do, corrodes up due to 2 different metals in contact. It happens very fast. If it sits for any length of time at all it will do this. You can pull the valve apart and clean it. It can be hard to get apart too. Watch for the spring that will shoot out from the bottom. Clean it up real good and use a good lubricant and it might last a year. Might be easier just to throw it in the trash.

Oh wow! Crazy info man. Thank You. Active has been very good during this problem. It started last week. For about ten minutes the machine RESET. once I foamed and rinsed the coupe, it went back to No Worky mode... I may disassemble this one to learn how to work on them. Hey, will the lube that u spray into the inlet on a pressure washer help prevent this? I don't use it everytime like I used to.. thanks again, GREAT INFO!!

Would Stabil pump protector help in this situation? It pushes the water out and is supposed to help prevent mineral buildup while lubricating the pump.

@DerPic ya know, I'm wondering the same thing. I used to use that after every use... I haven't in about a month. If that's the solution, I'm in! Thank You So much for that advice! Take 'R easy!🤙

Hey Tim! To be honest, active has been great during this issue. It started last week. This troubleshooting, did fix it for about ten minutes. Unfortunately once I foamed my coupe, rinsed it, the 2.0 wouldn't shut down. I'm confident active will stand tall on it. The good news, I have two other active washers: VE52 and the CAT by active (which is my oldest one and still running great) I appreciate you brother! Take R easy buddy🤙

I knew it, cost too much. I know they’ll replace it and all but I had a bad feeling about that unit

Hey, how's it going? I'm confident active will stand behind it. Their troubleshooting method reset this machine, but it only lasted about ten minutes after that. Cost wise, I still think active is a player. Ryobi & Karcher are near 3 bills, and their gpm is Lousy (1.2 I believe) . You can go AR Blue, but those are 7-8 Bills.... Sun Joe is a descent option, but then yer right back at 1.2 - 1.6 gpm. As long as active, I will keep sending new units if/when mine malfunction, I'll be OK. Hopefully, the New 2.3 (serviceable unit) will be their BEST yet... Thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment.... I'm hopeful! Have a great day!

Indeed it is... they ate going to replace it though.. as long as they stand behind their products I'll continue to use them. Take 'R easy!

Hey buddy! Well, active told me how to trouble shoot it. That worked but not for long! I foamed the coupe, then rinsed, it would NOT shut off... she broke. Well, back to old reliable, the CAT by active!
