Couldn’t have written it better. By far the most balanced male character I have seen in Pakistani dramas. Just as you said he is a combination of fire and water. A protector of his people. He is fierce as gaddi ka janasheen in his own words but he is also a man yearning for the love of his wife. Who is a wonderful son and also a protective husband. Wants to win her rather than force her. Dard hota hai yahan but tum nahi samjhogi. Meerub is hurt but I wish she slowly comes to realise it as sometimes it is her stubbornness that makes her look immature. Murtasim on the other hand is such a breath of fresh air. Where his feet are rooted in tradition but his head is balanced and forward thinking. Love both of them but Wahaj and I would say his eyes have taken it a notch higher❤

What about the female character, despite being female she made the female lead as grey and just concentrated on Murtasim and his elevation 👏🏻👏🏻there is no balance for both the characters

Meerab’s behavior with her parents is not about forgiving its something else this is about a relationship she had with them she grew up with them loved them the most. Us ke parents ne usey “HURT” kia bohut when she came on their door knocking and they didnt open it for her. She expected them to be there for her in those times she still loves them. whereas Murtasim ka mamla alag hai un ki khandani dushmani hai jo ke agay aur barhti isi liye us ne maafi ka kaha hai..

Meerab is a character who was pampered a lot by her parents. The girl who was raised with so much love was being pushed away with every phone call of Maa begum to the point where she just wanted a glimpse of them before she took the decision to marry. We as audience know the pressure her foster parents had but she did not. Imagine disliking the intervention of certain people in your life and those very souls are blood related to you. She didn't care about her birth father, all she wanted was attention of her parents which they didn't give her. It's this scar that's probably holding her back to fall in love again. And to be precise she having a lawyer like mindset makes judgement on rational and ethical basis but with her parents its an emotional equation which has faltered. In efforts to tame Meerab with the shackles of marriage, the whole situation simply awakened the rebel inside her who just wants to protect her self respect at this point.
