Sugarloaf Mountain in Nevada City, California has been on my hiking list for a long time. A short hike with big payoff sounds awesome. Plus spending the day in Beautiful Nevada City around fall, is just an amazing way to spend the day. Well, we ran into some issues. Instead of scraping this film I decided to share so others are aware.

My wife and I love Nevada City. The National Exchange Hotel, located in the heart of Nevada City, is a great place to stop for a cocktail. We also hopped in the car and headed to Hoyt's Trail, where you can find awesome watering holes. Just be aware that certain sections of the trail and beaches are 'clothing optional.' However, it's mostly a local tradition. Despite this, the hike was still enjoyable. One thing to note is that the parking situation at Hoyt's is similar to Sugarloaf, and you'll need to park where you can find it on the side of the road. There is a parking lot, but if you don't arrive early, there may be no space available.

Hello! Thank you for the information, Hoyt's trail is on my list. My wife and I also love Nevada City! It's such an amazing and beautiful place. I definitely plan on doing a lot of hikes in the area. We recently stayed at Inn Town Campground and loved it! So much adventure here. I have wanted to stop in and get a drink at The National Exchange Hotel; so much history. Yes, you are 🤣. I really didn't have much, I'm surprised I was able to make a video outta this. The area is breathtaking! I plan on doing a lot of content in the area soon. It's fairly close to home and beautiful drive.

Well, that is a bummer, at the very least, you can't have a bad day visiting Nevada City! 🥤We will have to try Three Forks. I think we have dined everywhere in Nevada City, other than Three Forks!

I know! I knew the hike was a "maybe." Either way, Nevada City is an awesome place to hang out. 3 forks has great food and great beer. I don't know if they have a red...🤔. Next hike will be a success! Cheers 🍻
