I wanna see esfand rp in prison for a week and see if he likes it or not

the issue is, is that the update drops out of nowhere and they gave 0 info about it other then it was added so ofc alot of people are gonna assume bad things. Also theres not always gonna be doc on duty to help out people who are in debt. People are still gonna do whatever it takes to not get caught and it just encourages more grinding

Man this take seems very biased. Saying yeah lets take these characters who interact with everyone and anyone in the city having fun and now force them to interact with the same couple ppl everyday sounds messed up. I do wish some of these guys who are so in love with this idea put themselves in the position to be in that system and see how much fun it is grinding all the time.

4.0 has really had some questionable decisions made. Time after time after time introducing bad ideas. Hq app locked to crew - reduces rp opportunities, makes every gang the same DNA from touching things makes no sense, not how that works. Wearing gloves doesn't change that. Making cars more "realistic" but then game mechanics destroy the handling. Making some good cars trash. Now introducing a severe punishment from being in debt without warning? Debt is already a punishment. Forcing systems so people have to grind or do a particular gang dynamic just closes down opportunities. Thank gd for the streamers making 4.0 watchable, the game itself is standing against them over and over.

They should wipe the current debt of players if they’re gonna implement something like this, because many heavy debtors wouldn’t have made the choices they did if this was ever gonna become a thing.

7:25 the clowns do fun stuff all the time but at the same time they're also part of some of the best rp moments so far so that's not really a valid excuse

Saying that Chatterbox is to blame for the adoption fraud stuff is so stupid because he was being a clown, playing his character, in a system that didn’t punish unique RP. Now that they want everyone to behave exactly the same, cookie cutter G6 workers, he never ever would do that. It’s completely unfair to blame someone for playing an older system the way it was supposed to be played. It’s ok though, because a court in GTA agreed with that and dropped all of Chatty’s adoption fraud stuff. He’s still like $200k in debt, but at least he’s not in the millions anymore.

These conversations should never even happen without the people it directly impacts. It's all one sided conversation. This change should be a option as a chance to assist people in debt IF they want. But people in debt do not need another punishment. Their debt IS their punishment. But to end the conversation with "we'll figure it out" is stupid. Because the NP devs haven't figured shit out in a positive way for crims or fuck around characters since 2.0. So no, I do not trust or have confidence of them figuring anything out and history and track records prove that. 4.0 has bee the most negative experience watching crims and fuck around characters since NP came out. Like basically if you're not a grinder or a cop, NP is not a friendly place for you. So the priority doesn't need to be on adding more punishments for these types of RP but rather giving them better tools and a little more balance on their side to make it better for them. And Esfand, yeah, you are taking crazy pills because you constantly show the inability to have objective thoughts. He shouldn't even be invited to the conversation till he spends at least 6 months to a year as a real criminal getting fucked every day without every tool in the game to prob him up. Because I guarantee if he did, he would no think like he does. I think there is a good idea somewhere in here, but right now it's burred by layers of shit and being decided by the people it doesn't impact rather than the people it does. If I'm being really real, it honestly just seems like a way to forcibly populate the prison..

I see no one learned anything from 3.0. With criminal main players being ignored again. Are cops going to have higher accountability on things to balance this? So what are they adding to prison rp to make it more better for rp to help with these changes? No wonder why it feels like 4.0 has flopped soo hard and isn’t exciting anymore.

I like esfand a lot but this guy is not a roleplay expert. He's actually like the opposite of a roleplay expert so much so i dont think he should have been n shouldnt be allowed to be a cop until he understands shit more. Everything he says sounds good but over the years in practice everyone figured out its stupid n doesnt work.

Esfand doesn’t get that it’s forced RP though. Is it possible to RP in prison? Yes, but many streamers make characters specifically for that or put their characters specifically into a prison arc for prison RP. This new rule says whatever you’re doing, whoever you are, whatever your style, we don’t care, you’re doing life in prison RP now. 😅 People who put RP first, like Spaceboy, Chatterbox, Whippy… they don’t have a choice anymore. Beyond that, the “fun” that people had with escaping cops and jail RP etc, is pretty much over. Everyone is going to be a rat. Everyone is going to shoot cops everytime. No one is ever going to work with the police again. This ruins Nopixel for everyone but the G6 grinders, which seems to be the only people Koil and Crane care about in 4.0 anyway…

If they want to drop these additions, they should make sure they don't affect past decisions. It's such a weird thing they keep doing. This is like when people spend all their money on a car and the next day it's a completely different car that they didn't buy, with no recall option. Instigating changes like this when the the streamers were rping in their original context and now are punished is so weird. If they want to introduce changes that affect people so negatively, introduce it with a clause that only affects future actions and not past actions. Bad moves by the devs again

Pure snd simple everybody in the city should have the debt canceled and have their records expunged because now it looks like PD wanted certain people in debt for example Mr.K to not only fuck their RP up but to fuck them over with a day in prison and then you have the clowns, james, eugene, reed these characters who they could of decided how to RP with the knowledge of consequences

Based on the information at the time and what was revealed in this podcast, the initial reaction was absolutely valid. The fact that the initial value of a job had to be increased 10x speaks volumes to how difficult it would have been to clear debt. I'm glad they made adjustments and hopefully when there's no more crazy debtors everything will be more balanced.

The one thing I took out of this video was Saab saying maybe you have to change your character to get more time off. Bro the characters in the most debt are the ones doing sbs chaos to create comedy rp. Admins man

It just punishes poor characters with double sentences for crimes vs rich crim characters who can actually afford the fines. Seems like a push to grinding, and that's just bad content. :/

I’m pretty sure initially people were upset becuz at first it was about $100/10mins. And if chatterbox had even gotten caught driving during that time it would have taken him about 72 IRL days (if he grinded for 24hours everyday) to pay off his debt. Which is impossible to do.
