Q. prescription is inj.dopamine 200mg in 250ml DSW to infuse at 5 mcg/kg/mit. The patient weight is 50 kg .how many cc/hr would this be on an infusion pump. Plz solution sir 🙏🙏🙏😊

5×60=300mcg/hour.....So,300mcg÷200000mcg×250ml= .375ml/hr(about .4ml/hr).........I think so😊

Firstly convert the mg into mcg so 200mg × 1000 = 200000 mcg Now calculation of dose acc to weight 5 x 50 = 250 mcg Now apply the formula desire dose / dose in hand x volume 250÷ 200000 × 250 = 0.3125 ml per min. Set krenge.
