@Fedor Silva Actually Russia does care. They don’t have the infrastructure in place to deliver enough gas to Asia to make up for lost European sales. And even once they do, it will never completely make up for the loss of Europe.

Furthermore Europe was their largest and biggest customer which they now have lost forever. There is nothing in place to substitute that. Plus any oil and gas that they can sell will be at a fixed price lower than the market price and they are selling it even cheaper because they need to keep production running. Once turned off will make it permanent.
