@@FC2ESWS I bought mine at the end of February from Norfolk Healthy Produce in Virginia. 10seeds for $20. Well worth the price for me. Plants are prolific fruit is about to ripen.

@@FC2ESWS Sorry to hear that. I would buy early maybe January if possible. I only germinated 3 seeds. Lost one to damping off. I will definitely be saving seeds to plant much more next year.

@@cindyinpcola I have six plants of these and they are HUGE! They grow twice as fast as any other mater I've ever had. I'm super excited to taste one!

Tasty. Slightly acidic but also sweet. Nice flavor and juicy.

Thank you for the video. I wonder, do they change color when cooked? Or do they stay purple?

Nice review, but to say they crossed the anthocyanin gene in might mislead some people into thinking it was through standard breeding rather than genetic engineering. The scientific paper on how the team did this is available on the internet.
