I hang out with the wrong crowd during my younger days. We did a lot of silly things. Thank God nothing went wrong. Now I always make sure my son does not go around with the wrong crowd. As a matter of fact, I always tell him that you don't need friends. I am the only friend he needs. I also tell him that the so-called friends now will be gone and a new sets of friends will appear when he change school, address, country, career, grade, ets.. But I am always there as his friend from birth to end of life.

BUT WE PULLED OUT THE PARKING LOT WE SAW THE GUYS TALKING BUT NOTHING SEEMED OUT OF NORM. WE DIDN'T SEE HER GET HURT WE DID SEE THE GUY WALK UP TO HER AS WE WAS AT THE LIGHT BUT THEN WE TURNED AT THE LIGHT. WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE HOUSE THATS WHEN SOMEONE CALLED US AND SAID THERE WAS A SHOOTING AT WAWA. WE BOTH WENT BACK TO WAWA AND POLICE WAS EVERYWHERE. BUT WE DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS THE LADY THAT WAS HURT UNTIL WE SAW HER CAR ON THE SIDE STILL PARKED AND TAPED OFF. WE LATER FOUND OUT SHE WAS PRONOUNCED AT THE HOSPITAL FROM THE SCENE. WE CRIED FOR THE FAMILY AND OUR PRAYERS GO STRONGLY OUT TO HER FAMILY.

My boyfriend best friend of twenty years pulled a knife on me and my boyfriend for standing up for ourselves when he would taunt us, hurt us cause we do a lot for this guy and same for him he does a lot for us…. Sometimes you have to eat that and move on because people will put u in situations where you never ever knew who that person really was and it’s absolutely terrible

I stopped going to the WaWa on Frederick Blvd. because of all of the homeless people and troublemakers. i had a road rage incident and it could have gone bad, but the cops pulled up just in Time. Portsmouth & Norfolk need more police. Defund the Police, Hell no! Fully fund them to protect hard working tax paying people like the lady who was murdered.

I watch many, many of these interviews and in my youth ran around the wrong crowd. In my untrained but experienced view, I believe this young man. I could be very wrong but I do feel in this case he is being honest.

He’s going to get life based on all the incriminating statements made in this interview. 1) He knew the woman and targeted her after work. 2) He didn’t call the police. 3) He was hanging with A.J. when the idea came to rob her. 4) They waited in front of the store for her to get off work, went to the back Brinkley and executed the woman.

How did the DA even charge him? He sounds like a hero.

I really believe this dude. My brother was in a similar situation years ago he got into a fight with a guy and even though he won the guys he was with jumped and after the fight and the guy almost died my brother sat in jail for a year because he didn't call the police right away and my brother's case it was he was 19 they thought of it as just a fight but he didn't want the two other guys to jump in and this dude's case it sounds like he legitimately has some fear of repercussions and being called a snitch.

A reminder to watch the company you keep. In as little as 1 second someone that your hanging with can change your whole life even if you are Innocent. It's guilty by association. The justice system doesn't care if you pulled the trigger or not. And when you don't have a money to hire a good lawyer you are fighting a uphill battle.

This person was charged because he is the center of the entire case. He is the best witness with all the facts of the incident. The prosecutor wants to ensure this defendant doesn't back out or refuse to testify at trial. They need to prove who the shooter was (the other defendant) and force the other defendant to take a guilty or plea bargain.
