This is from the "Fake news" from SNL. Norm was repeatedly warned by NBC executives to tone it down, especially with the OJ jokes and he refused. The president of NBC was a friend of OJs and warned him to stop or be fired. The very next taping he went all in = BRUTAL OJ jokes and (you guessed it) they fired him. This guy had balls and sacrificed the growth of his career, future opportunities and big $$$ to stand up to people with no sense of humor and fragile egos. We need more like him. He is missed!

The title is so melodramatic. You CAN tell these jokes today. I heard them today, on this video. If you couldn't tell these jokes, this video would be taken down. All it takes to tell these jokes is to have the balls to be willing to accept the consequences. Cancel culture is not a new thing, its just that people now want to be edgy, and part of the mainstream as well. You can't have it both ways. These are jokes, but they are reflective of real laws and mindsets back in the day I’m old enough to remember when don’t ask don’t tell was in the news Sometimes I forget that there was a time gay men were banned from being in places. Or gay women too. We’ve come a long, long way, and it’s good that we still have these jokes floating around so we can remember how far we’ve come.
