The lighting here is perfect for her. She really looks at her best. She had a beautiful speaking voice.

Gorgeous woman and lovely hairstyle. She and Joan Crawford were two of MGM's loveliest in the 1920s and 1930s.

I know -- So was Deborah Kerr. I guess they did those strabismus exercises that enabled them to hold a steady gaze long enough to shoot certain scenes.

The way she said "oh, Hell" when she muffed up a line was cute.

She became even more attractive as she aged. She looks much better here than she did in her early 1930s films.

It's her hair. She still had short 20's to early 30s styles.
