My eldest daughter (16yrs old) was dating this boy recently who looked, spoke, and behaved just like Freddie! The first time I met him, I was completely bowled over. He was American of course, but he sounds just like Freddie with his American accent. He had the kindest disposition, and the cadence of his speech in each and every sentence was identical, even down to the small pauses, hand gestures, and body language. It was a total trip. Unsurprisingly, he said he gets comments about this comparison constantly, haha

My interpretation is that Norman feels guilty for anything remotely sexual (including emotional feeling) and therefore Norma comes out to "save the day" because Norman doesn't know how to handle it.

When he turns in his "mother" 😂 Apparently Vera couldn't show her breasts, or didn't want to, so they put a shirt on her, but that means Norman's torso is bare. Maybe he turning into "mother" means an ellipse in the middle of the scene?

Quick question could the stripper see the mother or could she see Norman? In which only us (the audience) could see it was Norma if that makes sense. Sorry if it doesn't

The stripper and everyone else could only see Norman. Norma was kind of a hallucination in Norman's head. He imagined she would disapprove of Norman going to a stripper and said it out loud "Norman doesn't like this". The stripper didn't realize he was hallucinating himself as his mother. She thought he was speaking about himself in 3rd person and just went along with it :p Perfectly shot, in my opinion!
