This is a step by step build tutorial for how to build my Normandy SF-2 in Starfield. The build does not have a level requirement nor any perk points put into the Piloting or Ship Design perk. The total cost of the build is between 110k and 150k credits.

A number of people asked me to make a video tutorial so I did. Its pretty long coming it at 37 minutes, but it goes step-by-step on how to build it and where to go. Hope you like it, it is my very first KZfaq video and might be my first step into content creation. Who knows? Have fun with it and make it your own!

@@Sakura9etal Yes, sadly. When it first launched, a lot of the community felt that the ending was very anti-climactic. Many also felt like your choices from the first two games weren't as impactful on the final game. There were pretty big campaigns and even a charity drive to get them to fix the endings. Bioware ended up creating a new ending, revamped the existing ones, and added Shore Leave later on. I believe it was due to the backlash.

BEST ship building tutorial EVER, the step by step guide is truly a blessing for me because of the language difference but most importantly, the whole traveling between settlements to get other parts, other people should take notes and do videos like these instead of conveniently attach all pieces they got and call it a "tutorial"

For new guys, the STAR EAGLE ship (a reward from completing the freestar rangers questline, has like 90% of the parts , it’s free , it has the engines too, a very very strong shield generator (the same visual as here used). A very strong reactor and very good (2200) base cargo bays you can all fit in this build!! , forgot to mention you get some really busted EMP pulse weapons that do 0 dmg but completely cripple enemy ships to 0 power .. When home from work today imma hop straight in ship builder and modify my star eagle to this! ❤

only downfall of the Star Eagle i have found is that it dosnt have the 21ly range grav drive for the mission that asks for 21ly range.

@@Rhynocxadd Sarah to your crew if it’s within a couple LY of the number needed. Fun fact she doesn’t use up a crew management spot. Meaning if you are allowed to have two crew based on skill, she dies not count against that number. She does count as a “body” for ship crew capacity though.

Nice tutorial. Don't worry about going too fast; that's what the pause button is for! I was pausing frequently while I switched to the game window to copy each step.

@4:17 The section with "PAR" is your weapons. In this case PAR = Particle Beam and 52 should be the damage output.

If youre using the extra habs you could use the nova cross passage instead of a companionway, keeps the wing look a little more

Just a heads up, that extra room doesn't specifically need a hab to connect them, there are walkways at certain starship vendors that look very similar to the supports you were already using.

Very nice build. For those who happen upon this and aren't yet aware, you don't have to planet jump to get different parts (except for high end parts). You can build a landing pad with ship builder in an outpost, you have access to all parts (again, minus specialty parts & certain high end parts you must go to specific vendors for). Minus the fore landing gear & shield array, I was able to do this whole build (with access to a wider range of parts including a shielded cargo at one of these landing pads).

I'm so glad you guys are loving the build! I am hoping to use this as the spring board into content creation, if possible. I know the audio quality is pretty bad, but I have a new mic coming in that should hopefully address that! If it also helps, your outposts can have a large landing pad with a ship builder computer. You have access to all manufacturer parts that way minus some parts exclusive to specific shipyards. It's how I've been building most of my setups

I just built a very basic version on neon with ES parts. Yours is by far better. I had to make mine a B because i was attempting to recreate the internal structure of the Normandy more than the exterior. Made it impossible to get the look you have here.
