to anyone who struggles with norsca campaign. I played a very successful wulfric campaign lately: confederate fast: the stronger you appear the less likely the ai will declare war. Don't occupy norscan settlements just sack and move on to fight their leader. literately snipe them by raiding into their territory until you find the leader and just take him out. Also: raid your own territories always. don't spend money on your settlements until you got all of norsca. instead keep as much armies running and in raiding stance as you can afford. the only thing you do want to be able to recruit are axe throwing cav (what an amazing unit in manual play) I usually kept 3 in each of my early game stacks + a war-hound unit to chase down enemy skirmishers. and hunters for the hunts. berserkers are an amazing early game unit too. however wulfrics starting army has them covered and you get another RoR so just make sure they dont die and you are covered. wulfric should stay on his horse until mammoth-> the chariot is nice but you already have a unit of mar. champions and zerkers. and the t1 marauders are such a good unit for what it is. Wulfric also has his Longboat ability that can obliterate any infantery stack. you really just want him to run at the enemy lord together with a unit of great-axe sand take them out. that's why you stop blue line at 6 points and focus on yellow first. rush for non agg. with belakor and demons of chaos. I have done so by offering up some cash / join war against: definitely kill throgg and take his lands. manual combat a lot: the auto resolve for norscas early game stacks are really bad. No idea if it's a bug but in my last campaign I managed to confederate saarl and f*ked azazael with a 2 army blitz - albeit I didnt even want to kill him but I didnt know they were friends. That's when throgg declared war on me - I mean offered to confederate. Throgg was by far the hardest fight cause i Didn't have a real answer to his trolls. after confederating throgg i start upgrading the port settlements and build up two strong expensive stacks. Wulfric and throgg. Where with wulfric it is also time to do the lvl 1 hunts. The Frost-Wyrm reward item alone is absolutely insane!! make sure you create a doomstack of hunters and spearmen to do that fight(if you don't one-shot the frost wyrms you're going to cry a lot in this battle). and learn wulfrics hunter buff to do even more anti-large by then. vassalize clan moulder by giving them azazaels capital. Clan Moulder is norscas best friend and if you give them some gas they are going to wreck havoc in the south. I also managed to vassalize the orc from the east by taking erengrad and giving it to them. with those two as vassals kislev, empire and vampire counts will practically fall by themselves and faster than you can learn their respective techs. All you need to do at that point is rush for the capitals for the tech. and move on razing everything on the way in the name of your gods. norsca territory alone these days provides such a strong economy (~30k / turn). I found this campaign so easy that I stopped of boredom after wiping out the south.

That main Norsca dude looks so badass. I had the art for the norsca dlc as my pc background for absolutely ages.

There's a lord that buffs marauders. There's a lord that buffs trolls. I wish there was a lord that buffed the wolves.

Well you will have to update the campaign and battle guides of Norsca when the true rework arrives, which I'm sure it will bring a lords dlc just as with the Warriors of Chaos.

Wulfrik was the first I played to get short, long and ultimate victory killing the wood elfs endgame crisis. So much fun. Maruders get so buffed by tech that I had pure armies of level 1 maruders and they took out most enemy armies on auto resolve. Mammoth doomstack is also OP so its the most fun faction I have played sofar

I like the theme of Norsca but I have yet to really get into it.

I love Norsca. Really hope there rework when it comes makes them a raiding traveling ship building race. Can’t wait to see what there gonna do with them

Hello guys, looking for an advice - I am not sure how the tribal confederation works - like, does it apply to every faction in the game, or just Norscan tribes? For example, I defeated the leader of Sarl (which is Norscan tribe) and the confederation option didnt appear. The same happened to Vanaheimlings. Also, do u have to defeat enemy leader with your legendary Lord, or any Lord? Edit: I might know why - they both were in alliance with somebody (Sarl with Azazel and Vanaheimling with Balakor), so that might be the reason/glitch. So I guess, just declare war on everybody before they can make defensive pacts.

So you can’t have all 4 special characters from gifts of chaos then?

Should maybe be a pure/good norscan faction, thats not corrupted by chaos and trying to restore his lands and peoples culture. Considering not all norscans are corrupted in the lore, Would be pretty cool!

can norsca occupy every citiy ? i thought the city must be on a coast

I love playing as norsca but it always seems I go to war with dark elf and other chaos army before going against the order faction. For example, I play wulfic and capture most of norsca, neat. Them Hag graef, the decedent host the shadow legion and wintertooth declare war on me. I now have 4 fully army ravaging my land and I only have 1.....

the main issue with Norsca is the enemy ai can force march and attack your settlements and then run away after demolishing them and your unable to keep pace with them especially in the maze that is the Norscan mountains.....
