I've finally finished a new vid. I have several in the works right now, but I liked the way this one was coming along more than any of the others. Please ignore some of the minor audio glitches - I did what I could, but WMM is not really conducive to fine-tuning audio. I think this video is one of my favorite videos, if not my favorite video. I hope you all like it, too.
I decided to post the lyrics, also, because I think they are beautiful and fit Thornton very well:

Que casal lindo! Eles tem uma química pra lá de ótima, só pelo olhar um do outro, pelo toque das mãos,sente grande emoção entre eles. Já vi outras séries com RA e Daniela com outros pares, mas não achei que tinham química,como tem os dois juntos. A melhor história de amor q vi. Ela com cara de anjo e mta personalidade, não é enjoada como muitas mocinhas de romance e ele é tdo de bom, rústico, forte e completamente apaixonado.....um amor pra sonhar nos dias de hoje..😍😍

this is the best north and south video i have seen, i think it is outstanding. you really showed the ir realtionship brillantly and the brillance of Richard Armitage.

Thank you! I'm very pleased you liked the transition at 2:11. I think the camera work for this movie was done phenomenally, so it made it quite easy for me to put that to good use in this video.

I am happy to share this video, especially with people so wonderful as to give me such lovely feedback! I'm really glad you mentioned the flashbacks because that portion was a bit of a last-minute inspiration. I won't go into too many boring details regarding my thought processes at the time, but I am happy with the way it turned out. I'm glad to hear that you also enjoyed it. :)

I'm glad you thought my clips matched well! I always try to fit the story to the song as much as I can. It's one of my pet peeves when video makers fail to pay any heed to the lyrics. I'm glad you also liked how the proposal intertwined. I thought about making a series of videos highlighting specific portions of this story like this. I actually have one for the train scene in the end in the works. We'll see how that pans out. :) Thank you so much for your wonderful, well-thought comments!

PERFECT! It's your "fault" that I have to watch "North&South" again this minute. ;-) You mixed one of my favourite songs with my favourite period drama and with my favourite voice of an actor. Thanks for creating such a great video! Please keep making videos like this!

@whomels Thank you so much! I try to pay as much attention as possible to the lyrics, and I like adding voice clips that reiterate or enhance their meaning. I agree with you, also, that Thornton has a wonderful voice.

Thanks! I really love this song, too, and I'm glad you especially enjoyed that section. The wonderful thing about this song is that it had so many lovely little unique sections within it (like at 2:11) that I could use many styles of clip choice. It made creating the video that much more fun. :)

As well as the misunderstandings that can occur with inexperience. Many people even then from her background would not have seen a mill or factory & it would have been a shock, the idea that someone could be injured or die there, and of young children working

I recently watched North and South, fell in love with it and the love story, and was so glad to find your videos! This song is one of my obscure favorites and you've worked it in so well with the characters and dialogue. Very excited to see a recent video, I hope you make more! :)

Great job! I love this song and I think it works great for Thornton. My favorite part of the video is definitely the section starting at 2:11 - the clips you chose for each section was perfect.

What an absolutely splendid video! :O I am usually more of a male singer/male character kind of thing, but you just edited this so great that I don't mind at all ;-). You really made the lyrics flow with the clips and your matching of clips is splendid too. I especially like how you interwove small parts (with sound YAY) from the proposal... Great! Got to fave this video! Keep up the awesome work :D.

Yeah true. It annoys me a lot too when people won't stick with the lyrics. That would be a good idea: highlighting some scenes that you liked the most. I think you can pull it off, because it worked really well here. The trainscene is so wonderful! And I guess you can do much with it, because there are several parts that show Margaret also sitting in the train. Good luck if you ever decide to make it!
