A win for one of us is a win for all of us. Therefore, sportsmanship and good character from everyone, including spectators, is an important virtue to hold to the HIGHEST degree. A&T is a great band and it shows through the performance. Congrats Aggies!

I have never seen a more complete show. It is sad how SWAC groupies treat the other HBCU bands in other conferences EVERY BAND HAS THERE OWN SIGNATURE STYLE. I was there and JSU was great, but the show was not a JSU show- They ( the judges) made it clear to stick to your style. They hired HBCU professional musicians, directors and adjudicators who have been judging for longer than most of us were born. Sound is not the only deciding factor. There is nothing wrong with having a favorite, but let the professionals do what they do and accept it with some class. It is true what they say about your own kind, they will tear you down worse than any other race. That 100,000 check will provide scholarships for well-deserving students. These kids are talented no matter what school they represent. I'm an NCAT AGGIE (undergrad), an NSU SPARTAN( grad) and a BIG JACKSON FAN, but I still gave them props and made a donation to their programs..GROW UP.

This is so true…big HBCU band fan for years. The MEAC schools were traditionally always known to have better musicians. When the Bayou Classic was first televised in the 90’s SU band and the Dolls became extremely popular. And slowly things changed. I hope FAMU can get back to their old sound.

Being a fan of both bands, in all fairness, I think what won me over for A&T is the fact that the show felt complete. I agree that JSU is more powerful. However, NCAT came off more polished, drumline was on point, horns were good, key changes were dope, and auxiliary team was on it, dancing, flagging, and more. It gives you a lot to look at while hearing good music. JSU's drill was very dope, but I personally feel that they're missing small elements that will put them over the top. Not every judge is an extreme band head, only worried about "Crankin." Dynamics and a visual package matters... Both bands were amazing, though. ❤

NCA&T sucked. That show was boring. No marching or drilling. Lines all over the place. And song selection was basic. The announcer talked more than they played. You can't sit with a straight face and say they were good

@christopherbaldwin5494 nothing wrong with different opinions. Lol, I thought they were good. I appreciate core style and show style, so seeing both styles packed in one show is nice... I think JSU is great, I (only my opinion) just feel that NCAT had a better field presentation. If this was a 5th Quarter stand battle, JSU wins hands down...in a drumline battle, Cold Steel would WASH JSU drummers. Lol.

good show aggies. Now ya'll go look at the JSU show. formations out of wack. at one point several students were on the left side in an island of their own. just looking lost. Took them almost 3 minutes to actually start a full field show. Who does a field show without a color guard? it just wasnt a good SHOW!!!.

To all the Haters!! we Won! I guess we paid the judges too!! I give you props JSU, and i've seen you against southern last year. SWAC bands can blow, but their field shows was kinda boring. A&T had more juice than JSU this go round. Both bands did a great job tho. But can't sleep on the small band with a big sound. AGGIE PRIDE!!

Don’t know what the judges was looking at. They got this one completely wrong, from the degree of difficulty, the ladies, the music, and the overall showmanship. Congratulations to A&T. The judges are or were incompetent.

Every band that competed here… out of tone, blatting, out of tune snare drums, not hitting any high steps as a group, louder is not better. Less flash and more substance. Every band is capable… dancers are on the verge of lewd moves. What band is gonna bring a solid show next year?

Both bands did a great job. JSUs sound is unmatched this year. NCAT had a really good sound and was visually better. Sound was not better than JSU though. JSU should have left the drum solo out. It was poorly done and ineffective. You gotta give it to the NCAT auxiliary. They do many things well. NCAT is a more complete band but JSU is musically better and does good field shows. Hard to say who won.

Next year, when the Sonic Boom of the South is back in this thang, and they will be, they will not make the mistake of being Original and Versatile, and will instead do a show they've done several times during the season like what A&T did! We're gonna ROCK DA HOUSE, run around, dance, and do what we do! IN OTHER WORDS, ADJUST TO THE LEVEL OF THE COMPETION and BLOW THEM AWAY AT WHAT THEY ONLY DO BEST! ✊🏽

@@Chimalayas2000 The BOOM won both on and off the field. There is no way you can look at both shows and say that A&T was better. The BOOM had great drills, sound arrangements and overall musicianship. That Usher tribute was outstanding. The BOOM's show was exciting and had you on the edge of your seat. A&T's performance was very boring and took you to snooze city.

JState went out there and played a conservative hand weren't themselves at all thats why the outcome wasn't in their favor. What happened to all the songs they've been killing ppl in the swac with this season? They 🥜 nutted up playing boring songs just like their competition. Trust me they still were good but uh its not what we're use to from the boom 💥 Aggies are along the lines of a pwi marching band which is totally different from the swac. There was so much going happening on the field flags, batons, all over the place dancers and drum majors. Congratulations 👏🏿🎉 to the judges whom prefer Macy's parades type shows/performances
