Day 3 of Ace Spade Rally! We are off to drive "Tail Of The Dragon" an 11 miles stretch of road with 318 turns making it one of the windiest roads in the world and one of the most dangerous too! Along the way we run into plenty of cat & mouse games with the police! Our friend with a Liberty Walk widebody Aventador couldn't slip the fuzz and found himself with a mandatory court date for reckless driving!

it pains me to see that a DB participant crossed the double yellow multiple times on Deals Gap. Maybe when DDE said " this road will kill you if you do not respect it " that guy/gal should have listened a little more carefully. I do not care if you fly of the ridge, but you can kill a bike hauling ass coming the other way.

he is lucky he did not get impounded and taken to jail. I got caught going 120mph in a 60mph and got reckless driving, impounded and then got taken directly to jail for a day.. about $2000-$2500 after bail, tickets, impound fees, lawyer, court costs, defensive driving course, and time off from work for court and defensive driving. I got a good lawyer and got it dismissed but was still out the $2k.

and its still cheap compared for US wages. here in europe some of the fines are near US prices but wages are way lower. For example in my country reckless driving will set you back about 550 euro and you get license suspension for 1-2 years and you need to take driving school again for another 400 euro or so and corrective courses. Avg wage is like 600

That was a North Carolina officer. (Nice stealth edit on the title. :-) ) Also, when driving Deal’s Gap, please stay on your side of the yellow line. Some of us have lost friends up there because they were hit by somebody who didn’t stay on their side of the road.

Brendan LaSerre You’ve obviously never been to Deal’s Gap. It’s almost entirely blind curves. Easiest way to stay safe? Keep it between the mustard and the mayo. Don’t cross the double yellow. Period. It’s not that hard to do. If you can’t do it then you’re not as good a driver as you think you are.

Tail of the Dragon was amazing, I was in the 1000hp GTR until we got to deals gap. Then went back to my dads car, most amazing experience of my life. Had a great time hanging out with DDE and the ralliers!!

Nothing better then riding your motorcycle down the dragon and come face to face with a lambo passing over a double yellow line. Luckily nobody was hurt and they were hopefully using a radio for that. It it will happen again I’m sure with different outcome

I'm glad y'all got to run the parkway. It's so much better than the Dragon. Back in the 80's I used to blast triple digits on the parkway, especially fun on full moon nights with my lights turned off. :-) Going across the Fontana Dam felt like being on another planet.
