Dilfer said in post game interview that you saw only 10% of their playbook. Sure is an improvement over last years offense that can best be described as stagnant. I attended the game and coach Dilfer was a dynamo on the sidelines congratulating and encouraging his players. A good start, but competition will soon be tougher with a gritty and tough team to face in Georgia Southern at Statesboro. Goodness gracious two weeks later at Athens to face the best in UGA! I’ll be there at both games in GA to cheer on my Blazers! 🔥 🐉 Fire Breathers Only!!!!

Remember he was an elite 11 QB coming out of high school who propelled Baylor to conference championship Big 12 game. He will only blossom under the tutorage of Dilfer and playbook of Alex Mortesan as the season progresses. GO BLAZERS! Sept 28 @ UGA!!!

That D-line needs work too! Too many gaps were created against them, and looks like very little pressure/sacks on the UAB QB. Our QB looks GOOD, but he's gonna need better protection down the stretch. He's taking too many hits and licks to be the first game of the season. Love his size and speed too. Defense needs to definitely get better. Aggie Pride '92!

there is levels to college football ncat is good on the hbcu level but pwi schools have resources and finances that hbcu don’t have to create good football teams and that’s just reality

NCAT is still an FCS team playing an FBS team in UAB. This loss was expected. NCAT will be fine the rest of the schedule.

@@10akee oh I kinda forgot UAB was an FBS team. That said. A&T once beat three FBS teams in a two season span just a few years ago. Not saying we were going to win but was an all around bad showing

Delusional fan base, can't move the ball, two red-shirt freshman QBs. Play calling was horrible nothing about this game says we're gonna be just fine. It's gonna be tough the rest of the way. They do have some fight in them. A&T will be 0-2 after next week. @@10akee

@@replynotificationsdisabled Nah man!!! I was talking about North Carolina A&T University, not UAB. UAB is actually in the American Athletic Conference. Trent Dilfer is an old-school type of head coach.

Actually not a bad showing for the first game. We actually have loss by worse scores while in the MEAC. Almost 40 points by Carolina, 37 point by Tulsa and 34 points by Duke so this is not a bad showing for a first game. We will be fine

I'm guessing this list is based on teams from the late 90s and early 2000s. But all these people saying what TE's came out of The U....well Bubba Franks Jeremy Shockey Kellen Windslow Greg Olsen Jimmy Graham Clive Walford David Njoku And this year, the Colts drafted Will Mallory who will be a serviceable TE. I just 8 TE from The U and 6 of them were Pro Bowl TE and Rob Chudzinski was a former NFL HC and OC. So year I can see why they considered Miami TE U.

Try Google. Its one of, if not the best hbcu academically. The football team has won several HBCU titles and is looking to move up. The track program had a couple of people medal in the last Olympics and the team finished second in indoors at NCAA nationals competing against everyone last year. They have produced NFL players, politicians and activists who literally changed the face of America. You should have heard of them.
