My husband and I have booked a motor home to do the NC500 in October. We used to live up there and can’t wait to go back. We did a similar trip for 3 weeks a few years ago around New Zealand and it was beautiful, the scenery so so unbelievable that it made me cry. BTW top tip...... AVON Skin So Soft, particularly the pale greenish blue bottle is amazing at preventing midge bites. The West Coast of Scotland is particularly bad for midges but this stuff is the best, even walking / mountaineering shops stock it now x

Oh my god, I’ve spent the past two weeks everyday watching all your vlogs starting from your honeymoon in Florida - what an amazing family you are!!!! I laughed so much at this Chris your face and reactions were so funny and Sarah is thinking eh what. Top tip for camping Avon Skin So Soft. If you put that over your skin it keeps midges away. We used it all the time up north and it was recomended by the owner of a campsite. Xx

What did you do with your chemical toilet when you couldn’t use a campsite disposal, that’s my biggest issue with wild camping.

scotland is an amazing place to visit. Dunrobin castle is a lovely place i loved it. It was a shame when you were there as they do a display with eagles and owls. i expect it wasnt there due to covid. you need to go back when it is up and running properly again

Citronella candles are amazing for keeping bugs away, we have them to put in the garden when we have BBQs. We also but little tea lights in our conservatory to stop bugs coming into the house. You defiantly should get some. The trip was amazing 😊

This trip looked amazing. Stunning. I love Scotland its so beautiful. You would definitely enjoy exploring the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland it had equally stunning places to explore. It was literally breathtaking, can't wait to go back.

Really enjoyed ur nc500 adventure, so much I too got price of hire of camper lol -1200 per week plus 2000 deposit but none available all summer, I agree Rona is keeping people stay closer to home. I've changed my boat to mainland 3 times, here's hoping alls good this time lol. Looking forward to ur next adventure

I live in Anchorage, Alaska and the mosquitos here are jokingly referred to as our state bird! 🤣 They are so prevalent here in rural areas that they literally can drive the wildlife insane! The best way to help keep the blood suckers away when the sun goes down is a nice camp fire! 🔥 There are also citronella candles that you can light as well! The bug sprays work well but they can be difficult to use a lot of or if someone has breathing difficulties. I have seen advertisements about “natural” essential oil type scents that repel the biting type insects. Hopefully this helps on your next trip off the grid! PS: I just recalled the most important thing I’ve recently learned to help with mosquito 🦟 bites!! There are small tubular type devices that you place over the center of a bite and they literally are drawn backwards and the poison that makes it sting so much is pulled back and out of the bite!! Such a simple invention but a game changer for people who are miserable when they have been bitten up!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family vacation and also thanks for unapologetically living your lives authenticly! (I recognize that’s not proper English but I couldn’t come up with a more appropriate word to make my point 🤣) Your vlogs are refreshing and children are always gorgeous and precious! I also want to say that I had a similar banter type love with my now late fiancé! To me it’s obvious that you tease each other with only the best intentions. I’ve seen people go on about both of you and the way you speak to one another..........😞 Those people have obviously never had the pleasure of having both the love and their life and their best friend rolled into the same person. Wow! I’ve really made a very long message here but I am in quasi lockdown currently and I feel quite passionately about lifting people up as much as possible! The viewers that scout KZfaq seeking to shame or bully YT families are sad really. They get a lot of attention for their efforts but it must stink to live a life that consists of judging people as a main hobby! Thanks again for all the work you put in and if I did have only one critique about your fam it’s that I would absolutely LOVE to see another Ingram or two in the future! 😁🤪😉

Guys you can get skin so soft spray from Avon for the midges it’s really good and also citronella candles also help sometimes depending on the strength of it ....if u go into a camping shop u can also buy like wee insence sticks for midges/bugs x hope that helps x

You mentioned helping out local businesses. I live in Massachusetts next to a city called Salem. Salem has a huge history (that’s too much to get into) but it has a lot to do with witches. Well from June-October the city is in peak tourism. This is when they make the majority of their revenue for the year. So I’m not sure what’s going to happen to all the local businesses there this year. Here in MA our governor has been pretty sick about following rules.
